I recommend the shea moisture apple cider gel. It works really well for me. I know you said you don’t like it but it works well in my opinion. ( I know everything doesn’t work for everyone )

Im actually ab to get it cut blunt again so it can grow evenly. Im like to my shoulders. From where i wear ponytails my hair has A breakage point in the back in the middle. So i just cut even from that point All around. What Styles do you do to prevent breaking ?
Awww thanks babe!!!! 💕💘🥰 and I like to wear curly clip ins with most of my hair braided up and I love me some knotless braids. I also used to wear wigs a lot which helped my hair grow but I haven’t been wearing em like that recently Because they’re we’re taking my edges out
My hair is kind of thin from breakage from bleach and combing out my year old locs last October, it’s mid length and just doesn’t look good with a perm rod set or wash and go so I don’t really know what do with it other than a bun or silk press. Definitely cannot wear it natural and just down. I dislike twists too. My perm rod sets only last a day before the curls fall out and I use good products and it’s moisturized idk what’s wrong with it lol. I use mielle, hairgrowthco, and Nairobi mousse. I find my self having to restyle my hair in a bun 2-3 times a week just to look presentable which is too much for me. I’m gonna start using my clip ins instead for a few months .
Yes I think you should try your best to get rid of all the dead ends cause they’re all going to rip up and cause the healthy part of you hair to be thin too. Once you do that get a good protective style like knotless braids for like a month or two, or something like the clip ins… and for a good 6 months to a year wear a protective style that you really like for 1-2 months and wear your real hair in between for maybe like 2 weeks and then do another protective styles for 1-2 months on a rotating basis for a year.. .But again you have to make sure you cut off all the bad ends first and know how to safely take down braids to prevent further breakage or you’re not going to see the result you want.
@@TianaShannell thank you for the advice. I added about 5 clip ins with all my hair left out and did a braid and curl perm rod set. It looks so much better now that I have some fullness. Curls are lasting a little longer now that I tried a different routine too. Some curls have fallen out at the bottom but I think it was due to my hair still being damp but it takes forever to dry especially with the clip ins. I will try braiding my hair underneath and using all the clip ins next time to do a protective style. My hair is dark blue so for now it blends well into the black clip ins all through out because left all my hair out. Not really excited to dye leave out black for a full protective style I’ll think about it. Definitely will get some single for the summer months too
@@TianaShannell and yea eventually I’ll have to cut all the color off. Ends are thinned out from breakage of the bleach. It’s not horrible but definitely not as thick as it should be .
honestly it just depends bc when i got highlight my hair was still hella long and not damaged bc i invested in some really good products. you just gotta take good care of your hair and it depends on what your hair can handle

How often should you wash your hair ? & what oil do you use for your scalp?
When it’s out I try to wash it every 1-2weeks. In a protective style I might go 1 and 1/2 to 2 months without washing it
How did you grow your edges specifically?
