Yes! Flat twisting the roots makes it last so much longer. Especially if you lay it with a silk/satin scarf every night.

I love how you parted this style, I also like my styles to lay flat. Definitely will be talking inspo from this. I usually do braids instead of twists but I want to see if I can flat twist the top of my braids so they’re more flat to my head .

I always do mini twists the regular way but my twists always end up frizzy after a week, so I usually re-do them every week and can’t stretch it to 2 weeks without me looking crazy. I love how you flat twisted the roots and it looks a lot neater! I think i’ll try it next wash day, thank you for the video :))

Great video! The style came out so pretty. I have been getting tired of doing medium box braids with my natural hair so I think I’ll try this. I used to do two-strand twists as my protective style (which I wore all the time), but this a great switch up. I have a lot of hair so Idk 🤷🏾♀️. I’m really tired of doing my hair myself atp!

I’m trying this! I usually when I go for smaller sectioned flat twist from the neck up or down to my neck then the front twisted from middle to ears or ears to middle but did not think of splitting up the back twice as well as the front twice and twisted in the directions you do it, so ill see if it can look as cute as yours I love clips too 😂❤ subbed!

Love this style and I’m going to try it since its gym friendly. Did you blow dry your first or was it stretched over night?
It was still damp. I washed it like an hour before I recorded the video and it dried a little in the jumbo twists.
this is such a good alternative to regular mini twists which take way longer! Bc your hair looks a lot like mine, is it possible for you to do a wash day video?

hey! if you keep this in for 5 weeks do you deep condition in between? how do you moisturize it?
I just oil my scalp and apply oil to the length and ends of my hair. I always spray the hair with water (a light mist) and apply the same curling crème I used ti moisturize. I only deep condition when I take out the twists.
Hi! may I know what you used to pin the front strands of your hair? mine they're too short so they always come out of the ponytail and hang around lol
I used Bobby pins and I tuck them away so that they do not show
