You have to really break these things in. Almost impossible to pull slack from yellow strap with a new one. Either way the brown strap is the way to pull yourself closer and they slide so much better after a hot summer of creosote baked in
I don’t like when you are climbing and hafta keep yellow strap pinched with your fingers to create space.... I’ve cut out before and got my fingers stuck between the strap and the pole lol. Also doesn’t have as much slack to let out and lean off the pole

What is the best way to break in the pole choker. Just got mine and it is incredibly hard to use, day one.
this device sucks compared to the cynch loc and supersqueeze.
yeah, the clip that forces you to hold the belt in order to move anywhere is really inconvenient
