Are people still Muslim in Iran? I have only met Iranian atheists or exMuslims so far in the UK.
There's a significant Muslim British Iranian population too. You're not going to find them at the same places as the non-muslims of course.

Where do they live? The nonMuslim exMuslim Iranians have a very strange way to approach Islam and religion.
For example they say that we are zoroastrians and "cannot be" Muslim since Islam is Arab. OK. Europe was pagan Roman, they became Christian, then they become Atheist secular. If they can go through such fundamental shift in their identity, why not Iran?
Christianity started in the Middle East, but look at nations in western world, Africa and Asia (Philipines and South Korea for example) that own Christian faith and belief in Christ. This question does not occur to them.
Zoroatrian religion is maybe 4000 years old. Why isn't the thing that Iranian people followed before Zoroastrian religion considered the "original" religion, why start with Zoroastrian religion at all?
Many Iranians convert to Christianity and bash Islam but do not realize that the arguments they apply to bash Islam are equally or even more applicable to the Christian bible itself. The church can sugar coat things but the bible is the ultimate source of everything, not the church (there are 1000s of churches anyway that each alone claim to have the right path).

The one downside with having several sisters that are your best friends is that you never invested in friends. And when sisters move away you have to learn that skill which gets increasingly difficult as you age and women get busy with family and children. Let that be a lesson to some of you younger ones out there.

I understand having all of your sisters live far from you! We used to live close…. I’m much older than you, my kids are adults now. I still miss having my sisters close. We plan visits and I go stay with one of them & my Mum for a few weeks often.
