I am not Muslim, but wow that story you mentioned really made my blood boil! I just can’t believe that this is still an issue in America! Like let people wear and do what they want! As long as they aren’t inflicting harm on others why do you care? So frustrating. A couple months ago at H&M I saw a group of girls laughing at a hijabi girl, I couldn’t tell what they were saying but clearly she felt bothered. I was so close to tell those girls something but I saw when they were already walking away. I wanted to ask the hijabi lady if she was ok but didn’t want to put her on the spot anymore than she already probably felt. People EDUCATE your kids and teach them some MANNERS!

She’s absolutely right she has a choice to wear her hijab in this beautiful country free country that we are in however in most Muslim countries you are look bad you do not wear your head scarf or it’s against the law because the religion is really evil I’m not talking about the people I’m talking about the religion I studied it and it’s just the most evil religion one of the most evil religions in this world she probably hasn’t studied it and what her prophet Muhammad has done or maybe she feels or what her profphet has done is good but I will not follow a man that was a rapist a murder and a child molester

I am so sorry you had that experience. Some people are just ignorant. I am not Muslim but when I see a woman in a hijab I think they look beautiful. Always keep in mind for one ignorant person there are so many like me that respect you, your modesty and think you radiate beauty inside and out❤

Im not Muslim, But I’m literally so sorry for your experience with that lady at the nail salon. It made me so angry. I had seen your stories on Instagram about it and, I thought how ignorant and rude the nail tech sounded. I’m glad Omar came to your defense as well. I really wish we had more education on diversity- especially in America. It’s disheartening to be honest. So happy for Loren! How special! 💕
This made me tear up profusely because I recently started trying out wearing hijab out and about to uni occasionally or work and the reactions I've gotten have mostly been good, but one in particular was so heinous and cruel I immediately took it off upon getting to my car and cried. Mashallah for standing up for yourself, people can be really cruel.

Salam, sis. Don’t let miserable people make you miserable as well. I know it can hurt experiencing discrimination, especially when it catches us off guard. However, look at these people with pity because they’re lost and because bitterness and hatred has taken root in a place of their hearts that was originally a pure and righteous place. We all start off in this world pure and yet corruption touches all of us in some way shape or form. You have been guided and elevated. The Quran tells us that this religion was chosen for us by Allah swt. So it was chosen for you as well and that is a blessing not all have accepted in this life. Take the hard moments with a grain of salt because there’s a great reward in it for you inshallah.
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "No fatigue, nor disease, nor sorrow, nor sadness, nor hurt, nor distress befalls a Muslim, even if it were the prick he receives from a thorn, but that Allah expiates some of his sins for that." Bukhari 5641,5642

It really all boils down to personal choice and respecting people for it. Basic human decency and being kind! Sometimes people just don’t want to hear the answers to the questions they ask, mainly because they use these questions as a “shield” to not look like an outright bigot, but no matter how subtle they think they are, they’re really not hahaha. You look lovely, Leena, you’re always so beautiful!
Your story about the nail tech really sadden me for you! I’m sorry you had to go through that. She shouldn’t have done that to you. You are so pretty and I truly respect that you wear Hijab. I'm so glad I learned about hijab and niqab through kind and patient women on CZcams such as yourself and others... now when I have patients who wear those, I can understand why they wear them and when they can take them off (if they want to), etc!

I am a conservative Christian and I dress modestly myself. Some are just rude. If people are genuine interested it’s one thing, but you can feel when that is not the case. Glad you contacted the manager and glad your husband took it in his own hands too.
You are paying for a treatment, not getting x amount of time filled with questions that is pretty personal. I normally comes across as a native Norwegian, but I had someone that had seen me walk a lot with my skirt that thought I was a Muslim and not Norwegian but from a Muslim European country. I don’t care if I get taken for either of that, but that was a first for not thinking I am a native Norwegian. You are an American. Born and raised. Your hijab and modest dress don’t make you less of an American. My situation was not rude or anything like that, but yours was. It is a issue here in Norway too that born and raised Norwegians can get asked where they “actually” comes from, and I know it’s not just hijab ladies, but people with not the typical native Norwegian appearance. For many it is a hurting thing to get asked again and again ❤ I have the fairy light skin, and blond Nordic hair, with blue eyes, but many don’t look like what you often think a Norwegian will look like. We are a more diverse looking nation then most think of when they think of Norway, and in the USA I will guess it’s even more diverse. I get both sad and frustrated when I hear things like this, and I hope the manager took it serious.

Awe congratulations, Loren! I love watching your channels and seeing all the wonderful things you all are doing. I'm not Muslim, but I find it really cruel how some people act. I have neighbors from Syria and the lady wears the hijab. One of the nicest people that live around here. Thankfully, I think that she gets treated with respect by most of the other neighbors. I live in Canada too, so maybe there's a difference between here and the United States. We have jerks here too, but most people are accepting of others. It's nobody's business if you want to cover your hair and/or dress modestly. Do what makes you happy and what you believe is right. 💗
