Wouldn't put bars on second floor. If fire breaks out, you need your people to get out.. You only have one way in and one way out. Would put emergency exit up stairs in the back. Just a recommendation, so you have a peace of mind.

I put the bars on the inside of the house. It is ugly to put them outside and cannot open them like you said. It becomes a fire trap. 😢

If your roofing sheets are “charcoal grey” that’s the colour I’d be having. I think stainless steel guttering will go nice with them. Good choice 😂👍

Always put your bars inside the house on the windows because you need to open them for fire 🔥 exits. If you put them from the outside you will be trap inside the house just like it happened in Philippines that girl was trap inside the house and died in it. No way out a fire trap of course it will never happen to us 😮
