- It was all hands on deck to raise our Beautiful New Liberty Flag Pole next to the Building. The Pole is a one piece and 30' tall and we love it. We used the Kubota MX5400 and Basket plus lots of help!

We live in Western Pa. and Have around 100 Acres of Land, About 1/2 is ours the rest is my moms, We have 4 kids and two grandchildren, 3 Golden Retrievers and one Cat. We enjoy working on our property and making improvements. We sell firewood and soon will be selling hardwood lumber.

Exactly how I put mine up. I used a plum bob hanging high on my loader bucket to check straightness from different angles.

Mike.....I have to tell you that raising that Flag Pole was an emotional moment for me. In a time of so much hatred being shown against our country and attempts to kill everything this nation was built on, it was great to see you PROUDLY raise that pole and flag. We who support all that America stands for need to stand up and be counted. We need to reset the values of this nation and get America back as the example for all the world. Keep fighting Mike.......we WILL get there! Thanks for taking a stand for what we believe in. My small flag flies every day outside my home. That is not easy thing to do. We who view CZcams don’t necessarily appreciate all that goes into a video. Mikes good old Pennsylvania dialect and sincere style sure makes me feel I’m talking to a long time close neighbor.

My Father in law was in that battle, he had pictures from the battle and the aftermath. Some of the soldiers kind stepped off the deep end it’s to be expected though. The pics where gruesome.
@@rossboyd2272 Yes my uncle was lost in Battle of the Bulge Belgian and my father in law was on Missouri off Okinawa when kamikaze hit deck while my father was in battle on the island. Those vets often didn’t want to share those memories.That’s why any time that flag is raised we should all remember and thank them in our hearts.

Mike, I love the flag pole. My father was in WWII and fought in the Battle of the Bulge in the 82nd airborne. We need symbols like this to unify the nation and celebrate what our nation is all about. Thank you for your patriotism.
Well Done. Your plan worked well for keeping the pole pristine. As you know, millions of us still understand what that flag means. Thank you on behalf of my uncle John who remains on eternal patrol in the Pacific since June 1944.

@@tuttova John Clinton Strout Jr. was lost aboard USS Golet along with 81 other officers and enlisted men. Sunk by Japanese anti-submarine patrol off of Honshu. 14 June, 1944. He was 20, my Dad’s older brother. My Dad painfully mourned him for 74 years. He told us about his brother all the time. Felt like I knew my Uncle John well. Greatest Generation barely describes them.

As a four year Army veteran during Vietnam and a Sentinel at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier it makes my heart erupt when I see our colors fly. Great job. God bless you and America.

As a 27 year Navy Seabee, I never get tired of seeing the Colors wave. From Viet Nam to Okinawa to Guam to Panama to Greece to Italy and all over the United States, seeing our Colors fly always brings joy to my heart and sometimes tears to my eyes. God Bless America!

I have a pole in my yard as well that flies 2 flags and is always lit up. Old glory on top and the bottom flag alternates between MIA/POW and my U.S. Army Retired, Still Serving Proudly.

Kinda reminded me of concrete with the Hauses. Teamwork and everyone just getting in there and doing their job. The completed job looks great. It was great to see a family come together with one aim and achieve that with dignity. Mike, when you were posting the Colors, it reminded me of the Marines raising the Colors on Mount Seriabotchi on Iwo Jim in March 1946. Excellent job my friend!

Mike, thank you for finally posting our country's flag! If you were in the Service I hope you will also post the Service branch you were attached too! USA on top followed by your Service branch below. I was Army from 22 May 67 to 22 May 73. My dad was a Marine in the Pacific from July 1941 until May 1947.

Been anticipating this project for a while now, I knew I'd enjoy watching, but really, this was fantastic! So nice to see the family pitching in and working together. The tractor w tote and Christian in it worked very well. The drone's footage was spectacular during it standing up and absolutely beautiful w old glory flying! I bought flags for my three children so we too fly our star spangled banner! I watched a video from a family overseas and they made a comment wondering why so many flags were flying across America. You played the story of our flag getting it's anthem written by Francis Scott Key during a couple July 4th celebrations at your house. Kudos for that. Many, many Americans don't know that story and you have helped spread the word. "The Star Spangled Banner, as you've never heard it before," is the CZcams title I think, everyone needs to watch that! Now your property is truly beautiful and thank you so much for not only flying old glory but giving it the proper respect it deserves! It was nice to see Eva smiling and w y'all today and Hannah and Tyler there too. All y'all are in my prayer list but a special prayer goes up for Eva until I see her back 100%.
