I drove most of Market Street many times, but this time I get to be your passenger, thankyou very much for the pleasant drive.
I have to agree - I noticed a lot more in this video than I ever have on the road.
Wow, you made great time, esp with all those red lights!
Market and 13th, go right, South on 13th. Streets only 2 lanes with tall buildings, perfect “concrete canyon”! And Market & 7th St is house where Jefferson wrote the Declaration of Independence!
Nice drive along Market Street in Philadelphia
Hope you enjoyed driving on market Street in Philadelphia PA
Nice drive. It's also a tour of the Market St Elevated train .
The first part of the video (which is technically in Upper Darby) is part of my commute and unfortunately it typically is just as chaotic.
For those who follow the Boy in the Box case, 05:00 is a place of interest
Love walking on that street…. Go to franklins ice cream shop… best ice cream in town
Robin's Hood knows what you are doing - 44th street - at 12:14
Got anymore vids of Philly before we get to NYC Mike?
He has an affection with Philly 😂😂😂
He probably has some more Philly vids in storage and he’s currently filming NYC right now
Yes, Philly + New Jersey. I may skip around the areas in video release order though.
@@MileageMikeTravels Is there anything in Jersey worth a video? 🙂🙂🙂Actually, the approach to the Lincoln Tunnel as you're coming through the helix is probably good because you get the city (as if you can't tell, I'm a Long Islander - it's "the city" not "NYC"). A drive around Liberty State Park is nice too because you get that view of the city from that parking area and the side of the statue. Don't miss the reason why Jersey is like Greenland - they call themselves the Garden State but they should be the Petrochemical State :-) Do you have a drive through Camden?
Serious question - you were a civil engineer? Do you have more commentary on these roads? Like the Helix? Who the hell came up with that semi-circle approach and that God-awful merge? What are the alternative approaches? I had a grad school professor that actually worked on the simulation for the GW bridge approaches - figuring out where and how many toll booths to install. I found his case studies interesting.
@@JimAllen-Persona Lol. I guess Jersey can say they're in a strategic location that you have to pass through between Philly and NYC. I didn't check out Liberty State Park, might have to stop up there. I did like the view of Manhattan from Hamilton Park over near Weehawken I believe it was.
Yeah I worked as a civil engineer for a bit. I definitely have some commentary specifically dedicated to the strange things I've seen on New Jersey roads and their designs. New Jersey roads are quite "unique" compared to the other places I've been so far. From what I'm seeing it looks like a lot of weird interchange designs are centered around trying to funnel traffic into the toll area and making room for the toll booths. Hopefully I can have the video out in a few weeks.
From 69th Street to 63rd Street you are in Upper Darby not Philadelphia
You can’t be in Philly, I haven’t seen an “I Hate Steven Singer” sign yet 😂 Still have yet to have a good cheesesteak in Philly either. Any suggestions from the cheering section?
You might not like this but the best cheesesteaks are in the ghetto 😂 go to the Italian or papis to get them. The commercialized stores sucked from the what I remembered
@@steev7343 I have no problem with that. I just had breakfast at Salvadoran diner.. good place, good food, good prices. Now I just need someone to watch my car in North Philly 😂😂😂
@@JimAllen-Persona yes definitely bring people around to help watch it 😂 my mom who’s foreign had that happen to her a few times back in the 80s and even once during the early 2000’s. We now have cameras all over the neighborhood to try and help figure out who it is that’s taking car parts lol it’s sad but it’s our reality.
🤣🤣🤣 insanity drive
13:42 I guess he/she (most likely a he) was in a hurry to just stop again at the next light lol
😂
TOO MANY ADS!
The most boring video I have ever seen😢
