This song is as much about living with harmony with nature as it is about living in harmony with each other.
Bonobibi is the name of a forest goddess which is worshipped by Hindus and Muslims alike. While the goddess protects the villagers from tigers, pirates and such, the myth of the Goddess itself brings two communities together.
There's also a reference to Sojan Baidar Ghat, which is a Bengali poem from the 1920s about a Hindu girl who falls in love with a Muslim boy. Their love symbolizes the unity of the two communities. Their love continues to flourish until some outside forces trigger a conflict. When the lovers realize they cant be together anymore, they both commit suicide by drinking poison.

Baul is a unique form of music that emphasizes on the spirituality of the human soul and its connection with the universe.
