- I have my left my territory of the east, and have journeyed once again to the west to make a tier list ranking the characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe in terms of strength and power.
If you have ever wondered which one of the marvel movie characters would win in a fight, this is the video for you.

Spider-Man is well above cap, winter soldier and any other super soldiers. When iron man stated that cap could beat Spider-Man we was referring to his experience and hand to hand combat. In terms of pure strength , Spider-Man wins with ease

By the end of Far From Home, Peter 100% has the experience and mastery of his powers to beat Cap.
Mantis is highly under rated imo, after guardians 3 she’s shown to have mastered her mind control powers so much that she can tame 3 of those big guys the rest of the guardians struggled to beat in gotg2, also she held control over Thanos and ego in his planetary form.

Wanda got a huge upgrade since her tussle with Thanos in End Game. She got access to the Dark Hold, unlocked reality warping, absorbed the power of an ancient witch, and became more psychically healed and ascended into a prophesied form. Agatha Harkness warned that the Scarlet Witch can destroy the word. She could be beyond planetary depending on what the MCU means by the "Nexus" Easter Egg in WandaVision. She can also manifest breakfast for dinner out of the vacuum of space.

I bet this was a very hard list to put together. And many people will have problems with placements but all in all you did a really good job explaining your reasoning.
I think this tier list is decent for the most part with the amount of characters put on it. However I think it's based a little too heavily on who beats who rather than a character's feats.
That's the point if the character beats the other character that means that character has more features than the other so yeah
the movies did not show how much about the characters and their strength, there's too much of them, to little screen time to see anything.

It’s based off of feats, he used little speculation and went off of what is directly shown but I do think Ant Man could still win depending, as we know if he were to just quickly enlarge and grab Strange then the fights over. And Ant Man one shotted Obsidian so that shows that his strength and durability are high not only that but if he shrinks then Cap literally won’t be able to touch him and then Ant Man will either just slowly beat his ass or enlarge on him

This tier list also shows just how insanely powerful the infinity stones are. Ronan was a whole 3 tiers beneath thanos, but then he’s on the same level with him when they both have just 1. The reason why ofc is because their power is so incomparable to anyone else that the only people they even get close to is each other. But, also because of this i believe strange should’ve been put higher up since he has essentially infinite amount of chances, time, and lives to do whatever he wants.
wandavision really solidified wanda’s spot. I’m so glad we got to see her teleport, use a force field, and do her mind control thing. also that creepy speed walk thing. i’m relieved that’s an actual power of hers and not just a movie editing choice.

This is a really well-thought-out and put-together tier list. I would've ranked characters differently initially but the evidence you used really proved to me you thought this out. Love it.
for the most part, couple weard things still happend: gamora and quil r overrated they should be down, and ranking wong and the other sorcerer 3 ranks under strange is redicioulous, they can basically do the same thing (besides time stone, with time stone strange is arguble the most powerfull hero) and also ranking wasp 5 under antman, HELLO they litteraly have the same powers, arguble wasp is even stornger than ant man, if u do tier list stop going after main characters but have a realistic comparison...

I think he wrongly puts Ronan, he's not stronger than Ego cause he has not the full control on power stone (as the celastial showed in gotg has, who's able to destroy entire planets). I think Odin is arguably on the same level of Ego, and right below Thanos during Titan's fight. People probably don't get he's one of the strongest gods if not the strongest, and just by this fact he's of course stronger than Ronan, and probably even more stronger than Ego

he put them in the same tier because Ant man has contributed immensely in the destruction of Thanos’ army one shotting Cull Obsidian. also raccoon is a sneaky little genius that will catch you off guard with a moon destroying rockst launcher for example.

Rocket beat up around 100 trained space pirates alone, making them look like little girls, he would have litteraly beaten all the ravagers if Yondu didn't stop him. He has mechanical and biological enhancement like a super soldier, the only reason why he is not in the super soldier category has to do with being a raccoon with very limited physical strenght.

Dr strange is way too low here IMO. Pretty sure he was caught by surprise by the maw similar to Thanos and stormbreaker. He was able to compete with the power of multiple infinity stones against Thanos, which I highly doubt the maw could do as all he has is telekinesis. I would even put him higher than scarlet witch current, as she clearly has more power but the arsenal of dimension breaking spells he has and control vs her would put him at an advantage. Especially if he gets the time stone back... 😏
It's just that Dr Strange hasn't shown his feats yet. Yes, the Thanos fight was awesome but not at good as the Wanda feats. He will rise above her in Dr Strange 2 for sure.

Wanda has some very powerful magic, Maw is very smart which is the game changer he can analyze the situation really fast and find a solution, plus unlike Wanda he doesn’t need to be close to get into peoples heads, even with her great power his intelligence is just to much of a threat and she’d probably lose.
I understand why black widow is so low and it make sense due to the fact that she is a human assassin trained to fight HUMANS. She could still hold her own against Aliens. She is powerful just in a different way then some of the others
Loved the list honestly one of the most accurate tier lists I’ve seen for the mcu, hoping you do another at the rate all these new heroes/villains show up, also I might argue ironman could be a bit higher imo as he took numerous strikes from thanos who was enhanced by the stones at the time and thanos punched and blasted Tony with the power stone while a punch from the power stone knocked out carol, ironman also was able to block a strike from thanos in their fight just before he was stabbed and that was a heavily depleted suit couod just me bein ironman bias lol

This list was far from accurate 😂 he literally ignored context and placed heroes in bad spots. Spider-Man below captain America because of 1 instance? Is he ignoring the fact Spider-Man no selled cull obsidians full strike that would’ve killed iron man? Captain marvel is stronger than base Thanos? She only took the headbutt because she was absorbing the full gauntlet

But that strike wouldn’t have killed ironman he legit took strikes from thanos and cull wasn’t stronger than thanos, carols strength before absorbing was able to stagger thanos before she even grabbed his hand to absorb so it actually does make sense, I do agree tho soiderman should be higher there’s probably other things I’d tweak as well but it’s been over a month since I’ve seen the bud and I don’t feel like rewatching it atm

Cool tier list although I reckon it needs to be updated. Wong will need to be higher as shown when he defeats abomination. Wanda will also have to be higher possibly a potential universe buster when she shows more feats. Either way im interested in where shang chi and the mandarin rank onto the list (possibly around mountain level with the ten rings?)

Happy to debate. But it’s simple. He is a vibrainum android that than phase through 99% of things that has a literal infinity stone as a power source. He is super strong, can fly and has multiple combat AIs to help run through scenarios. He was done dirty in the MCU because he HAD to be taken off the board. He suffers the same flaw of Superman in the DCEU.
Yeah Caps shield was broken and Thanos with 5 Stones ripped the stone from his head - but Caps shield is thinner than Vision and had taken a huge beating and at the time, Vision was practically dead.

I would argue that shes planetary, in the dark hold it was said "its her destiny to destroy the planet" implying she has the power to do so. Might even be universal

Keep in mind, Doctor Strange was able to fight nearly on par with Thanos who had 4 Infinity Stones at the time, and Wanda scales above him, so that makes Wanda the most powerful Avenger, and top tier within the MCU.
The thing with Wanda is that she has mindcontrol powers... we haven‘t seen her use those against stronger opponents, but I‘m pretty sure that she could beat anyone if she got into their head...

Also her power is really dark. Her mind control and enchantment works differently than sylvie's. She puts nightmares on people she controls.
But her body is still human. So almost every charakter could defeat her with a surprise attack or strategie though.

Correction, Hawkeye actually really doesn’t miss, like ever. The shots he took at Loki and Iron Man were all within part of the plan, to either distract or disrupt them somehow, which implies he didn’t miss. Same goes for the comics. If it looked like he missed, then he purposefully did it

Fantastic list. There were some vague disagreements I had that I can’t even remember because they were so small. I think they mainly had to do with Spider-Man and Dr. Strange. Either way, great job.

I would guess stormbreaker was a pretty massive buff when you consider that it fully powered up a Thor who was nearly killed by absorbing the power of a star. Then consider that Thor got absolutely wiped by thanos, but was so confident that stormbreaker would put him on an even scale. Granted, he still got beat, but if it was a substantial enough buff to justify even trying then I think it’s worth throwing him a few spots higher

Pretty good list. I'd make some changes but over all it's very accurate in my opinion.
Doctor Strange could be higher because Thanos needed 4 stones to defeat him while Doctor Strange did'nt use the time stone. I think, he should be in Team Busters like Thanos without stones. To be honest... Everyone who can use the mirror dimension would be hard to beat by others without this advantage (or an infinity stone)
Also Ant-Man should be lower on the list. He can't stay in his giant form for long, is slowly in there and his combat skills aren't very good.
Maybe Captain Marvel is a little bit too high because we didn't seen her in a long fight and her combat speed didn't look at fast as her travel speed so i'm not sure if she have a chance against the magicians. But this can be argued I guess.^^

U cold also consider that capturing people in a time loop like with dormamu is a power because in that case noone can beat him. He can just make thanos give up snapping him because he just comes back like with dormamu

Decent effort for a pretty impossible task. It also really highlights some of the dumb inconcistencies that slip by when different movie makers are just trying to make cool scenes. AND how much theyve shafted thor and his powers to make certain storylines work

Yeah, I thought about putting Vision above Ultron, but like I said, he just has a lack of feats. If Vision was evil and always fought to kill, there is a good chance he would be way higher.

I’ll start off by saying that I love marvel and it’s great seeing anyone else share their passion and put so much effort into it. That said, I have quite a few problems w ur tier list. More then I want to mention but I’ll share a few. U said in one of ur replies that “if directors statements countered one another, you’d leave them out” or something along those lines. But u didn’t. On one hand u said that Wanda couldn’t kill base level thanos due to what a director said. But Kevin feige stated that if he didn’t rain fire, she would have ripped him in half. Also, how does base level thanos beat strange? He has no counter to the mirror dimension and could be easily removed via a portal. His shield would easily block a punch from him, given that they stopped a black hole, etc.. finally, how does Bucky beat Spider-Man??? Peter literally beat him and that was w 6 months of experience. He would stomp Bucky and a lot of other hero’s now.
I never said Wanda couldn’t kill base Thanos. I might have said it’s debatable, but I never said it was impostor that she couldn’t. The writers also said Thanos could have beaten everyone on Titan even without the gauntlet and we saw him beat a wizard in Endgame, and all wizards have the mirror dimension and sling rings. Thanos also punched through Dr. Strange’s shield on screen and Strange failed to even scratch him. Spider-Man beat Bucky, but a bloodlusted winter soldier using lethal weapons is an entirely different animal. Bucky and Falcon had trouble agains the Captain America knock off, while a bloodlusted winter soldier was holding his own with Captain America.

Now with strange and thanos, even tho the writers said that thanos would beat him without the gauntlet, they haven’t actually said why he could. There’s no reason why strange shouldn’t be able to trap him in the mirror dimension without the gauntlet. The only reason he shattered it was because he used the power stone. While he did break his shield, it only pushed strange back, he didn’t take any damage from the kick. Now w Bucky and Spider-Man, bucky isn’t mind controlled anymore so seeing him absolutely lose is it unlikely. After far from him, Peter reflexes and senses r ridiculous, it’d be hard for Bucky to even hit him in my opinion. The iron spider suit is definitely bulletproof and should be able to withstand a bomb no problem, especially sense iron mans was able to block the power shown for a bit.
@@solcohen9042 Supposedly there was a deleted scene in Endgame where Ebony Maw just straight up broke out of the mirror dimension, so base Thanos still might be able to. Also Strange would have to go in the mirror dimension with him, and he could just get killed inside of it. He tried to abandon Kaecilius in there but failed. We saw Thanos beat another wizard in Endgame, writers said he could win, and there was no future where Strange beat Endgame Thanos, so that makes it pretty clear imo. Iron Spider is a tier above Bucky, and without that I agree there is a good chance Spider-Man is above him now. It’s just that he hasn’t beaten anyone yet to prove he scales above Captain America yet.

The directors said Endgame Thor was stronger, so I would take their word over yours. I used to think IW Thor was a bit stronger as well, but there is nothing proving EG Thor isn't stronger, so I have to go with what the directors said. And Dr Strange and Ancient one have a chance of beating Captain Marvel, but Captain Marvel is faster and more powerful.
@@weeaboo-warrior it’s not whether or not he was stronger, it’s his fighting style that really took a hit in endgame. In EG, all Thor wanted to do was wack thanos with his hammer. If he was smarter (probably not as drunk) and more agile (not as fat), he would easily outmaneuver and use lighting to pretty definitively win against Thanos

I think you did a great job, the only difference I would make is placing Thor as last in team buster, seeing how many people he takes out at a time

It would be interesting to analyze where and why the Eternals belong as well as the Deviants and Celestials. I suppose the Celestials are equal or above Thanos, well at this power level the infinity stones are the only thing that matter or make up end-level-Thanos anyway.
If the Celestials are able to plant some of their species in the dark dimension then they rank in above Dormamu i suppose, however, this is more of a speculation since it‘s unknown if they even have access or interest in the dark dimension specifically. They and Dormamu might just be equally powerful entities roaming their universe. In fact, it would be Dormamu attacking them if he‘s consuming every planet to grow the dark dimension.
There are definitely some errors but overall not bad. Curious to see where infinity ultron would rank in this

Most characters have nerfs, but Hulk would indeed be one of the worst examples, as he should have been above Iron Man tier characters.
Most of the MCU characters were nerfed. Thor could easily destroy a planet, and wanda went from rewriting the history of the universe on a whim to brainwashing a town

An argument you could make for Dr Strange being above Ebony Maw is that because they were in a city, there was a lot for maw to use to his advantage. How he used the pipes in the ground to restrain Strange. I’d be willing to say if they were on an open field. Strange could easy best him.

I left Celestial Quill off because it’s hard to gauge his power. He fought his Dad’s avatar, but wether or not that makes him as powerful as his dad and his entire planet body is questionable. By visual feats he would probably be mid to high super hero tier, but with his supposed immortality he could be higher, and if he is truly as strong as his dad he would be planetary.
