I'm finally getting rid of my large CD collection, and I was just searching for an easy way to rip them to backup. This was the first thing I clicked on... Looks like Windows Media Player is still useful after all! Great tutorial! Thanks for the info!!
Nice Video I have question - I have a CD that is an MP3 CD I have listened that cd so many times in DVD Player But Now that Cd Shows Blank. Is there any way to backup that cd songs ?
I would put it into a PC to see if you can see any of the files. If you can I would make a backup. If you can’t there’s a chance the cd is no good anymore. Are there any large scratches?
@@SaturdayNightCoder Excellent! I've got a stand alone 2-drive CD-Duper somewhere, but I can't find it and I don't even know if it work anymore ... it's gotta be 20-years old by now. So I just used Windows Media Player to rip some music CD's to .mp3's at 320kb, then used my 16-year old Dell DDR2, PS2 Windows XP desktop (now Win 10) with a CD-RW drive to burn CD's for use in my cars CD player. Old school, perhaps ... but paid for & still working! Happy New Year!
Very straightforward and helpful! Thanks!

Making toast with the same device you listen to Christopher Cross on! 😆
Good and thanks!
....and how do I get it from Windows Media Player to an SD card?
MP3 ON A TOASTER... HAHAHA. AWESOME - THANK YOU
👌
so you are say that my car stereo can play mp3 formated discs?
Hello, that depends on the stereo you have. Lots can play mp3s. Mine cannot though. Any fairly new car stereo should be able to play mp3s.
Figure all I have to lose is a disc. I tried it & the disc with mp3's played perfectly so TYVM.
Video title does not say "ripping" or "converting". It says "copy" (duplicate exactly). TD
To be fair that’s a very good point! I’ll rename the video. Thanks.
