I really hope you're right. I've never had success in finding a catalogue of all the many Opus LPs.. but occasionally there are fascinating findings which appear. For example, on ebay at the moment "hala" "opus" brings up an album of Gershwin tracks by Josef Hala. Well.. there are Jiri, Jan and Jirka Hala too (all sons of big band legend Vlastimil Hala), so even finding the right "J.Hala" from a cue sheet can be difficult! Maybe someone has a full set somewhere!

ceefaxfreak09 - there's a great track by Pavol Zelenay on a CZcams video called "Jana Kocianová - Ruže pre mamu".. the orchestral arrangement would be a perfect trade test track.. and it's quite possible that, like Strange Feeling/Divny Pocit, some of those Opus favourites are instrumental arrangements of Czech/Slovak pop songs - after all, lots of Opus material was based around Western songs - so no surprise if that's the case! I'd personally love to find Tulsa (aka Tekla)

I used to enjoy hearing Sunflower and Hi Livin on BBC2 Scotland accompanied by the Phillips PM5544.
There were even a Sunday morning airing of Hi Livin on BBC1 Scotland accompanied by the PM5544.
I would have loved Positron, Villa Vista and Melancholic Rock to all have been on BBC2 Scotland accompanied by the PM5544 as well.

Duck Duck Go now allows you to block App Trackers, so if you've got an android device and you block App Blockers on the CZcams app, you won't see the irritating ads pop up and peppering videos like this. Positron and Kung Flute are no places for ads.
So far so good, I've seen none pop up yet.

Yes this tape ran from 1985 to 1987, in the era when you were more likely to hear it played over Ceefax pages, with maybe 7 mins or so of Test Card at the start of the transmission.

Hi Simon, it took me years to find out what it's called. It's called 'Bart' by a 70's group called 'Ruby'. The track features on there self titled album from 1977, there quite an obscure pop group these days and i must admit I only really bought the album from the website www.discogs.com about 5 years ago just for the track 'Bart'. The LP i have it on which is an RCA Records Argentine pressing sounds fantastic on vinyl though a decent Amp and much better then the sound quality of it that was used by BBC back then
'Bart' brings back some very fond memories for me as when i was about 5 to 6 years old at infants school between 1978-1979 Ruby's 'Bart' would often play on the BBC's schools program service on BBC 2 in the morning and often 'Bart' would be shown over the schools countdown clock with the disapearing white circles or over a 'Follows Shortly' endboard that was always used by the BBC back in the 1970s and 80s. Happy memories. I only found out that it was 'Bart' by 'Ruby' on youtube thanks to the good and kind people on youtube some years ago, i still think it's bloody wonderful and always will.
According to the LP 'Bart' was written by 'Randy Oda' of the group.
I hoped i have helped out there!.

Edited shorter versions of BART were used on the various schools intervals, with the "dots" countdown, and a faded down version on the BBC1 "Pretty Girls" tape (which ran for just over two years from early 1988 to 1980) but this is the full, uncut version on here. Well done for adding it onto the end of the Positron tape!!

Mid 1985 to 1987, on BBC1. After November 1986 however, it could only be heard in the early mornings, as BBC1 had started transmitting wall to wall programmes during the day.

Seeing as she's the one actively writing on the board, and appears to be drawing an X (as evidenced by the position of her hand in the top right quadrant of the spot), she is likely X. It is unknown who would be winning this early in the game. Unfortunately, we will likely never know the outcome.
