    The illustration at the end is how the pasteurization process is done with milk. Where I work, we heat the milk up to around 180F by passing it through a one side of a heat exchanger, then it goes through winding pipe holding the temperature 22 seconds. Then it passes through the other side of the heat exchanger and is brought back down to 35F. temperature and time varies from company to company and also effects the taste and how long the milk will last. The lower you heat it to, the better the milk will taste but will last much less longer and vice versa.

    The Engineering Mindset can you make a video about car/motorcycle heat exchangers please ?

  • @joaquinrodriguezsosa9195

    All your videos are great! Could you tell me why this exchangers are used, instead of just heating the milk that is going onto the next stages of the factory? This would not require the use of water boilers. Maybe is just an example you made fpr the video. Thank you!

    how to objects stay the same colour - if the frequency of the re-emitted photon is dependent on the frequency of the photn the electron absorbed, how does an atom continuously produce a photon of the same colour/ why is an atoms colour constant?

    • @matthewwakeham2206
      @matthewwakeham2206 Před 2 lety

      I don't think the frequency emitted is dependent on the frequency absorbed. When an electron in an atom drops from a higher energy level to a lower one, the photon emitted always has the same energy/frequency for that change in level.

    • @jefferyjimson8574
      @jefferyjimson8574 Před 2 lety

      @@matthewwakeham2206 ok so the electron will always emit the same frequency it was vibrating in its ground state? (eg. if its ground state is 430THz (red light) then the photon will be red light?)

    Suggestion: turbulators.🌀 I'm not sure if this is in the scope of this channel, but i found them very interesting from thermodynamics and fluid dynamic perspective. I tried to improve efficiency of my wood central heating boiler with tubular heat exchanger. There are many papers comparing different designs for both water-water systems and water air systems.
    So far this is the best engineering explanation channel I found. I learned a lot. 😊Thank you. ( I'm vet. student😅)
