I definitely got Juggernaut vibes from it was soon as Lathrix added the wings. Adding on the guns just increased the feeling.
Also the Stellaris Juggernaut (mammalian version, I think) has always looked like the ships that The Black Order use in the MCU. They look too similar for me not to think of them as the same ship.
EDIT: I looked it up & the MCU ship I'm thinking of is the Sanctuary II.

You should make a ship that has a weapon hidden in the core that when you want to fire it pistons lower it out of the bottom/raise it up out of a hole in the top
Something else would be a ship that uses spin blocks working to make a hatch for a weapon that might not be that easy to protect

Thanks Lathrix for starting another Adventure mode playthrough, I love this game mode but simply don't have the time to play it myself and I enjoy watching your strategies and gameplay style!
Every time I watch you play from the depths it makes me want to play it, then I open the game and realize I both don't know what I'm doing and aren't creative enough with building ships.
I propose to add to the honour rules that capturing other crafts to get more resource is now prohibited until difficulty 90. It means you have to manage your resources more, need to kill more, and need to find more resource zones (which in turn also means you need to kill more)
So essentially, Lathland has turned his bathtub ship in to a stingray...

Hey lathrix, are you going to continue the FTD campaign, or are you waiting for them to update the game and start from scratch?
He already said he was going to wait for a couple more updates that are coming, then will start back from scratch. There are balancing changes that make his last game unplayable/glitchy.

One other idea: 1 MEGA GUN anytype but its more a ship attached to a weapon rather than a weapon on a ship. The idea of just a MASSIVE gun flying through the sky is hillarious
Name it the Catalina or the skyshark. One is a flying boat bomber from WW2. The other is was designed in 1945 built in 1947. The skyshark was an upgrade of the AD-1 chasi. It had 2 separate engines in the fuselage which ran 2 propellers. So the similarity with your craft is caused by the number of props(heliblade spinners).
Lathrix, are you unconciously trying to recreate Ronan the Accusers ship's the Silver/Dark Aster? Because thats what it looks like!

Ooh an idea for a different adventure mode. A play thru, where you can only capture and start to build up a fleet of possible as you go ever higher into the difficulty.
Hi lathrix, just a suggestion but if you hook some lights on the craft an then use a ACB block to change there colours when enemies are near, it is, for example red, and when your safe its green, so you can build more safely and not have to keep checking for that TINY enemy icon, AJ

You should be able to get a lot more yaw authority if you put more dediblades in the wings, oriented like pusher props. With it set to respond to yaw the blade on that side should reverse. And then when they're *not* being used for yaw they can still provide more forwards thrust

If you're going to keep being a flyer I think you should set something up that basically shoots straight down at an enemy and it's just a massive damage dealer
Adv cannon with no gunpowder, just a little rail power, HE. You can make it shoot stupidly fast, but the range will be quite short.
Suggestion: Turn the airship into a drone carrier and give it a large flak battery. The 12 colonies require a new flagship!
i think the current ship kinda looks like a starwars - star destroyer - type bridge,
if this goes similar to the last adventure mode, that would be a cool thing to see (similar meaning contiously upgrading the starter ship)

Lathrix has been spotted again, more powerful and dangerous than before. He has transformed his bathtub aircraft into a kind of stubby bomber plane, with no bombs....
Instead bombs though he has around 6 advanced cannons simple but effective or some might say simple but quite unbreakable. If he continues to move into more and more protected waters he will be stopped eventually. Right?
I really might have to step into this one. And it won’t be pretty, for ether of us.

Love the vids man, I hope your doing alright with all the irl stuff going on. Side note, I love this series and I've got alot of play time in FTD, but i absolutely suck at this mode lol. I can get a starter craft but I usually end up getting wrecked because I cant seem to find a balance between the craft and weapons. My last few runs I've had a pretty solid craft but only simple weapons and maybe a med missile. Any recommendations or tips?

If you're going to go with a bunch of tiny, no fuel, missiles, have you considered having them launched as cluster missiles with a primary body that's only their to get them in range and act as a mobile radar platform?
Between this series and the last, it feels like Adventure Mode is a really interesting concept, but it needs its spawning rules drastically overhauled. That said, could the direction you're going matter? I think you mentioned something along those lines last time?

I was a little worried when you only had the .50 cal simple weapons... they're so garbage that a half dozen of them working together will take a comedicaly long time to kill a duster.
i think it would bo cool if we could watch more battles from your characters pov rather than from the sky especially since you plan on going for a more close range playstyle :)

idea: make missiles specifically and only designed/used for scouting. Long range, high fuel, decent speed, and no damage. This would be used if there is an enemy in the distance and you want to know what it is.

lathland all you need to do is get a 600mm adv cannon max fire rate extreme explosive shells and just spam ammo containers just have 1 of them close range even the bulwark is dead
Lath, there is a huge bug in the adventure mode right now. It was discovered when you went 10 seconds without a marauder attacking you.
