Ok… but what does the algorithm take in consideration to add more battery points…. Hours of sleep , REM sleep, deep sleep, stress or movement while sleeping , heart rate …? Thank you

Thank you for your question! As Garmin adds more attributes of evaluation (the latest is the HRV) they get added to the evaluation.
When you look at each attribute separately, you have to keep in mind deeper variables. Sleep: total time asleep and how many sleep cycles do you complete, how much time in deep sleep vs. awake time, number of interruptions, etc.). Food consumed vs. calories burned. Evening weight vs. morning weight (from a hydration standpoint).
Remember, the more data Garmin collects, the more it knows if something it out of line (resting heart rate, volume of training, etc.).
Let me know if you have any other questions or need anything clarified, always happy to answer!

@@CoachRobbBeams thank you so much for the answer ! I didn’t know about the calories difference … or the evening vs morning weight… in my case I almost never recover all the 100 points… only 60-80 are added usually… I will input more data hoping it makes a difference. Thanks for the vids!

I have the Epix Gen 2 and the issue I am having is it is not picking up on my sleep cycles well. I also where a Whoop which is known to be more accurate and often Garmin is missing hours of REM and Deep Sleep. Won't this affect my body battery and therefore is it risky or not good to depend on it. How can I get it to be more accurate?

Thank you for your comment. The Garmin is quickly catching the Whoop when it comes to accuracy. Have you updated your Garmin with the latest updates. This is a game changer and needs to be completed on a regular basis for improved accuracy. Keep me posted!

Work is my “Maps App” 😂 I can eat 1,500 less calories, do a 1/2 IM worth of workouts on my day off… and still drain less battery.

Can you elaborate? I don't understand your comment. Thank you sir!

@@CoachRobbBeams my stress level is so high at work it's high drain. I usually end a work day with a battery around 10. If I don't up the cals about 1,500 above what Garmin says, I either won't sleep well or more or less binge before bedtime.
On my day off I can do workouts all day and stay close or below the caloric estimates of Garmin no problem if I choose.
Work (aka job) is a major glucose chewer!

Question HRV (Fenix 7s) vs Body Battery (Vivosmart 5) I have been a Garmin user for over 15 years. I own a Fenix 7s, Vivosmart 5 and a Google Pixel Watch 2. I like having smart features but will not give up the Garmin eco system. So I purchased a vivosmart 5 to have on my other wrist and use my Pixel Watch 2 as a daily driver. The question I have is the Body Battery is all over the place because I am wearing the Vivosmart 5 during the day and then train with the Fenix 7s and sleep with the Fenix 7s. Then wake up in the morning BB is 70% then switch to my vivosmart 5 and it shoots up to 95%. I get why because they do not sync BB but I guess my question is should I stick to my Vivosmart as my main watch and only use the fenix 7 for training. Is the nightly HRV/training reediness from the Fenix and the BB from the vivosmart 5 pretty much the same info.

Thank you for the comment! The Fenix 7s has higher levels of technology and hence more accurate data. Strive to wear just the 7 and see if the data levels out. Please keep me posted if not!
