Yes, but not revolutionary. The same kind of product was invented years ago, this one is just like upgraded replica of the original one nothing new. The sales going to be very low if invested, because of digital gadgets and digital equipments are there in the competition. They deserve nothing or something better, they gave them chance to do something better tham what they have done.

Namita's advice was actually sensible, respectful, and realistic one....I know a lot of people like Ashneer's way of judging people because he is aggressive and he insults people, which is good content and entertainment. But it only looks fun when it is happening with someone else and not with you. The sharks should be realistic, practical but also respectful. There is no need to insult someone to get your point across.
Money can't buy class, Ashneer is a living example of that.

As a physicist I must say it’s a great product. We call such ideas as frugal science products. I hate it how Ashneer and Aman degraded the idea itself in such a condescending way. For the context, the original paper based microscope called “foldoscope” was invented by one of my collaborators at Stanford -Prof Manu Prakash. This microscope (attached with a centrifugal toy) was used to detect water borne diseases and microbes typically in pond water in regions like Africa. It is quite a successful idea. The thing is what these guys have invented deserves more praise than what they got here in tank, maybe tank deserves slightly more educated and informed sharks.

In my opinion, any one should not demotivate a young entrepreneur specially like ashneer do always. If sharks doesn't understand the value of product, it never means that product doesn't not have value. This kind of small microscopes are accessible and pocket friendly to students and same time to learn something new

Actually, asheer has a good point that this product, if modified and made in such a way that it can externally attach with phone and can enhance camera quality (zoom & clarity) by adjusting gear ⚙️ it might be useful and creative, actually , and then in such case , users can even achieve high quality photo even with normal camera

This product is absolutely fantastic. These people don't know the scientific value of it. If we can see the microscopic view in such a way its really nice. Student can easily use this and relate while reading books easily what the cells, ameoba, alegue, fungi etc. these sharks never understand it.
True, I had science till my 10th standard. The reason I lost interst in the subject was because the school never gave us the microscope to observe the things nor were we allowed to experiment with chemistry and biology. Indian school and education system needs a revolutionary change, hope The New Education Policy will usher in an era of scientific progress and the coming generations didn't have to suffer the same cold attitude of the schools. I really like the product bcoz I was already wanted a microscope on my birthday coz I'm a science student ,and whenever I went to my biology laboratory I was so curious to see anything in the microscope so I really loved their idea to motivate the new generation towards microbiology. hat's off to both who atleast raised their interest and their precious time to make this product. 😊♥️
Go for a Foldscope instead. It can magnify upto 140 X. Also read its usage and invention.

I think this product can be sold to schools and colleges. Generally, Standard Microscope costs heavily and they are hard to maintain. If they are cheap, easily maintainable and portable then they can purchase this.

During childhood many of us had curiosity about the things around but we were restricted to learn about it in bio labs only. If it's marketed properly it can be used in every house also.
when i was a kid my mom once told me about cells in our blood one day when i got a small cut on my hand i was trying to find those cells but my mom said you can't see it without a microscope i was so sad that day
when i entered class 9th we had a biology practical of onion peel cells and that fascinated me although i had more interest in physics and i ended up having an engineering background
this product can be a good thing for kids who want to explore the world around them like go out to play in the evening and use this microscope to see different things like stomata of leaves and different insects and microbes but given that these days a lot of kids spend more time on phone instead of going out in evening this product has some limitations

sometimes a product need not be available to the general public directly but it could be available in the market by making ties through various organisations that are into education.
Approach these NGOs who are into educating children and try your luck with it.
Although the Sharks say they invest when some problems are being solved but the actual investment only Happens when the numbers are way lucrative. Happy that atleast now he has the limelight, if he collaborates with Byjus or just approaches schools with this product, a lot of schools can buy it for their students. I guess thousands of Bulk orders might reduce the price in the long run, it's expensive now coz no one is buying it.

I think the product is very good...as microscopes are very costly due to which students are not able to clearly understand the anatomy...specially in fields like biology, pharmacy. This product would be handy for students and be beneficial in curriculum
The product is actually good for the price and could have actually worked in the market had it gotten a good promotion. Kids these days spent a lot of time on smartphones, which is bad for their eyes as well their psychological well-being. So, if only any of the sharks had taken a risk of investing in this product it would have turned out well. Even if they could have tied up with some edutech startups themselves, they would have easily made sales of 10k units. Every edutech startup gives away these tabs and other smart gadgets complimentary with their core product, I am sure they could have given away this product as well. Hope these guys keep innovating.
