I think it helps if you press the shirt befor the vinyl goes on as it makes sure its ultra dry and crease free.
That makes a lot of sense. Thanks for the great tip.
Sweet! You uploaded!
Thanks for sharing 😀👍
Interesting project 👍
A friend of mine has been making custom t-shirts at parties on demand for 15 years - he has some designs pre-cut, and weeded to be finished up in seconds, or you can choose your own colours or if some kind of ad hoc party meme emerges, there's going to be t-shirts an hour later. I don't know all the secrets, but every t-shirt i got made by anyone else decays, his just never do, they're still good after hundreds of washes, which is plain amazing. He must be very meticulous with his vinyl and settings, but he also always pre-washes and tumble dries the t-shirts before applying the vinyl.
Siana Gearz Could you please ask him if he can print me some of my logos? I don’t own a vinyl printer and there doesn’t seem to be anybody offering that service. All I can find are Asian clothing manufacturers who either refuse or quote me $500+ for 20 sheets of A4! I will pay them
Wow that's a great case study for how to use these for profit. Really, really clever, thanks for sharing.
Great project :)
good job Michael! thanks.
and also very interesting for me , regarding to... whoops, little ungrammatical. in regard to, or regarding the heat-press. i've always wanted one. i only tried stickering yet.
now i know which one to buy, the 5 in 1 like you got is the one to get.
indeed the profit of making schirt's is not the biggest, due the transfer flock is more expencive then normal stickering vinyl, but you can create your own creative one of a kind design's.
👍👌😄
you probably found out yet, but CAD-CUT Direct has many eye opening tutorials, though it is just an advertising channel, i found it very interesting.
Thanks again for your advice on the grounding. The more I read, the more stories I found of damaged machines from static discharge. The vinyl is more expensive, but if you were doing a batch you could pack them densely. My method here is the least efficient possible.
The mug press is more for dye sublimation but thats involves special printers with expensive inks and special mugs and its not easy to get colours right sometimes. What you did would most probably come off if put in a dashwasher. Still think you have one of the best channels at the moment for peoplke who like to make all sorts of things.
Thanks for the knowledgeable advice. I'm definitely a noob with this. Thanks for the nice feedback too :)
Could I ask you how the press is holding up?? Has there been any break downs. I’m looking to get one from eBay soon. Thank you for your continued great content.
I have one of these just for my personal use and I always get people asking where I get my tshirts and hoodied from lol
You seem like a fun dad!

Could easily buy bulk shirts and sell them online with the vinyl cutter

Hey I brought the 5 in 1heat press and vinyl cutter but the vinyl cutter only came,....can someone tell me if I got screwed or if they come separately
is it possible to put a 3d print part on a t-shirt, and heat it, so it sticks to the t-shirt?
RClifeon did a cool series on this: czcams.com/video/Xeb90Nk_6x8/video.html
What siZe is ur vinyl cutter?...and how much was the cutter and press?...im looking for cheap and fairly reliable....best bang for buck?
I think many of us would want to buy that benchy shirt if it was reasonably priced ;)
I'm planning some shirts for sale in the near future, with a better version of this.
