- This video contains all possible options (except the romance lines) and squadmate comments when you meet Kaidan during the main mission Horizon. Legion, Samara, and Thane have no dialogue for this entire mission.

4:18 I know that the Paragon option here is meant to say that Cerberus isn't responsible for the disappearing colonies, but I would have liked the chance to explain to Kaiden or Ashley that this partnership was conditional. I always got the feeling that even in a Renegade playthrough that Cerberus wasn't to be fully trusted, but this conversation always ends with the implication that you do work for Cerberus, even knowing what they're all about.

Cerberus only wants to save it for humans. They don't give a damn about the other races. Kaiden was right; renegade FemShep can't be trusted.

Apparently, if you have Kasumi Goto with you, it's best not to pick the Renegade option when answering the mechanic.

Oh wow, Thane, Samara, and Legion didn’t have lines recorded for this?
No, they're silent throughout the whole Horizon mission, too.
@@EmilyOnGames I wonder if it's because during development, they decided to have them recruited for the second half of the game, and figured there was no point in recording dialogue.
@@michaelburke7978 And still did lines with Tali. Shame we can recruet her after horizon mission only.
Always wondering how kaiden/ashley survive from this attack? did they hiding like the mechanic?
With Shepard interrupting the Collector attack early, I think they just got lucky.
It would have been interesting if the Virmire Survivor were abducted instead, then Shepard would have to save them, raising the stakes of the Suicide Mission even more.

How do you manage to only take one squadmate to missions?
For the sake of easier recording, I use a save editor which allows you to have 0-2 squadmates in your party.
Delan aka ‘joe colonist’ is such an aggravating throwaway character. And it’s doubly annoying because he’s basically the only face of the colonists in this game…you know, the people we’re trying to save.
Huuuge missed opportunity to flesh out the world. Esp with this anti-Alliance hostility from colonists who are literally all alone in the most dangerous sector of the galaxy, the Terminus Systems.
Kaidan never made it this far in any of my playthroughs. Let's just say that Virmire.... wasn't very kind to him.
I could never leave behind my Warrior Maiden for Headache Boy.
I just did one playthrough with Ashley, and it was absolute and utter hell. Kaidan's my favourite character. It was so hard for me to leave the love of my life behind! 💔
