The sound effect exists all the way back in my 2015 2.0 tsi it really doesn't matter when u can just simply keep it in individual setting without the sound

When you describe the Octavia as a "compact" car.. 😂They're bloody big things (yes, not as big as the Superb)
That's VW marketing for you. They sell it claiming its compact so it takes less sales away from the A4.
