You can also cook the noodles as followed:
Drain the package. Don't rinse. Instead lightly coat a pan with cooking spray. Place noodles in the pan on high heat. Lightly season with garlic powder and ground pepper. Stir and toss the noodles to mix the garlic and ground pepper in well. Let cook for about 2 minutes and toss and stir the noodles around the pan. Cook for another 2 minutes. Add a table spoon of soy sauce. Toss. Cook 2 more minutes and toss again. The noodles should be dry, not stringy, but it also absorbs the garlic, pepper, and soy sauce, giving the noodles a base flavor of their own. If not dry at this point, cook another 2 minutes and toss one more time.
This cooking method pairs well with every pasta dish I've made, even shrimp alfredo. People can't even tell that they aren't regular noodles.
This is a method that I made up on my own, and the noodles always come out better than the traditional drain, rinse, dry fry method. The cooking spray really helps the noodles absorb the seasoning, and the soy sauce blends everything together and gives the noodles almost an egg noodle like taste. This is honestly the only way I'll cook these noodles now. Better texture and more flavor.

@@SincerelyLegenia no problem. I'd like to know what you think after you give it a try, see if it works for you. I mean, you could still rinse the noodles if you want, for example, I just don't find it necessary because of the added garlic powder. It cuts out that extra 3 minutes of prep time.

Thank you for sharing this recipe. I’m surprised at how much the noodles taste like regular ramen by cooking them this way. I tried to eyeball the amount of chili garlic crisp and I’m pretty sure I added way too much because my eyes were watering 🥵🔥🤣but that was my fault. It was still very delicious 😋 I’ll add sautéed mushrooms & broccoli to the leftovers to tame down the heat. I’ll be making this often 🌹
