Wow… what a story. MCP killed this narration and the writer was incredible. One of my all-time favorites, easily.
Thanks man.
Love you Cory ❤️
I love you too Cory❤️ and I love you MCP❤️…:2 of my favorites😘😘😘😘
Yeah MCP really did kill this. And thank you!
I’ll be the judge of that! (Marlboro’s voice)/Jerry.
Ok. Agree. It’s pretty good. Not sure too
Two though
TFTGS and I dared my best friend to ruin my life. Top2 fs
The real horror is not communicating for fear of disappointing your loved ones, sending you into spirals where you're in too deep but you don't realize the horror of your situation unless you're dredged out of it. Also dementia like fuck holy shit
This is totally what I was thinking too. Communication is important af ya'll. Also I randomly think about dementia and it freaks me the fuck out sometimes.
Yeah I don’t think I have any Alzheimer’s or dementia in my family but just the idea or the possibility of waking up one day and I couldn’t tell you what who my family, friends or I am scares the hell out of me to my core. I’m literally considering documenting my life just so I or anyone left when I die can say who I was.
my thoughts exactly. talking can change everything esp. in a marriage
Facing Our Mortality...
For me, this wasn't scary... Just heartbreaking.

Oh cuc
After all that supernatural gambling I really thought that the wife would be magically cured instead of actually getting the needed money...
@Ein Typ Uuh mal jemand der meine sprache spricht. Yaaaay
The scary part is that I saw everything coming, all of it, the memory loss, the cancer, the guy who is basically described as looking like the devil down to how carries himself, his appearance, and his personality (who but the devil to make such an ironic punishment?). But what truly hit me was the delivery, as always MrCreepyPasta kills it. You are still my favorite narrator because even if I know what's coming, it's still so satisfying, as the delivery, the emotion, the voice acting is just sublime. That ending though was the icing on the cake for this one, her delivery was incredible, if I had heard that on the radio or the news, I would've thought it was real!
You might have heard this before, I believe it might have been MCP that read this around the time he was just beginning, I think
The ending voice gave me silent hill 2 vibes, specifically Mary's letter. She's really good, I'm glad MCP chose her
Well thanks for spoiling it! I don't have to listen to the story now....

@@mitrikgaduk347 you're the highlighted comment or whatever on the very top right below the video...
I just ADORE the sound effects MCP uses. Everytime I hear one it makes the story sooooo much better
Hadn't had any time lately for bedtime creepypasta. Glad I heard this one all the way through without falling asleep with my work load. Absolutely brilliant as always.
I always enjoy the stories with those who gamble their fate. A favor for a favor is still one of the best stories that you've did and I love re listening to it.
I dared my best friend to ruin my life follows close.
A favor for a favor was probably one of the first creepypastas I ever heard from mrcreepypasta and it’s one of my favorites along with ‘picture this’, and ‘the seer of possibilities’
listen to all the borrascas, you'd love it
@@baddeali they are masterpieces. Poor Kimber.
Because of my TBI I've sever memorie issues and if it weren't for my wife I'd be lost, so this story hit me hard.
Excellent story! And well narrated!
I'm not a gambler, and I don't know enough about poker to know anything, yet the story and the reading still kept me actively engaged.
Once it got to the part about playing with memory chips, I have to admit I started to see similarities between the fictional story and real life with Depression/ADHD.
I have lost very important memories. Things I either didn't actively pay attention to and attempt to recall often, I just have no access to the memory of it's even there.
I know certain things happened because loved ones say so, and often have pictures, but in my mind, there nothing. Not a single partial memory associated with these events.
I don't know if it's the ADHD, the depression, or the meds, but there's a definite sense that something is just gone.
So now I'll randomly be like, "wow this is such a good moment, I wonder if I'll remember it in 6 months" or "wow this is such a normal boring moment, I wonder which awesome moment my brain is going to data dump so that I can remember a year from now that I had a very boring, typical day?"
the real horror is the us healthcare system amiright fellas (but fr this was a great story, i love your channel 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻)
yeah, even *with* insurance and a job people can still go bankrupt on US medical bills
See. A lot of people say the NHS isn't fit for purpose. And that may be true being deliberately ran into the ground by the Gov. However they have helped a lot of people over the years, myself included. And being free at the point of use is brilliant.
Yup I have no issues paying my bills. Even with insurance I have massive medical bills from a motorcycle accident. I get calls every day about them also
It's really the us govt /or whos telling them what to do aka the NwO.
@@eric63377 Yep
Absolutely one of my all time favorites. Ending actually had me tear up a little. Been listening for almost 10 years and this one is now in my top 5
Getsomeadat, This story is one of my favorite long creepypastas too along with "Mayhem Mountain" and "The New fish"
This one was so amazing… one of the best creepy pasta I’ve heard in YEARS…
If only Dave knew that he could have won the money easier if only he'd have played a game of Ddakji with me. All it would have cost him was a slap...
XD but seriously, this was really good, especially that ending!
This hit home in several different ways, most of them unrelated to one another, but risking everything for those you care about most in life's always been a blessing and a curse. Also I know this was long-term, but short-term memory loss is a huge struggle, I think that's why this one hit a bit harder, that feeling of being lost and the social embarrassment from it, in this case it was just heartbreaking-
This is one of those stories that makes me want to analyze it with pen and paper. This tale is good, and the narration is top shelf.
this was a very good reading and the womans voice at the end was a very nice touch.
This is the perfect fuckin story for poker players I mean Jesus man the narration and your sound design? That first altercation with wannabe colonel Sanders had my heart going a mile a minute. I’m quite new to this community but I just found creepypasta narration’s Moses. You go part that Red Sea big dog this is beautiful stuff
Wow. This story was incredible. Brutally heartbreaking.
This was glorious. Always love the way narrative these stories. The writer did an amazing job. Good blend of realism and supernatural.
Your probably the best narrator ive ever heard.
One of the most famous at least
I would agree.
check out "Lighthouse horror", "Viidith22", and Mike Jesus Langer! Viidith22 is a smaller channel but he chooses amazing stories to narrate, and Mike Jesus Langer writes alot of stories the bigger channels do. Mike is really good!
MCP doesn't just narrate. He performs these stories! From the panic stricken stammerings to the low wistful whispers, he really pulls you in
@@DrAsimov Lighthouse Horror is one of my favorites. I just started following viidith but if you want some hotpastas check out The Dark Cosmos and Scary JUJU.
Very sad. How people lose themselves to addiction.
Looking forward to hearing this!
Good Engrossing, Creepypasta Gambling story, which was Never boring to me! Gripping too when he was at the big gambling tournament table against the other gamblers! I also enjoyed when he touches gambling chip and Twilight Zone like Flashback visions start at 45:02 ! This is one of my favorite long Creepypasta stories along with "The number of darkness"-Possessed devil sisters. "Favor for a Favor",-A devil story. "Mayhem Mountain'-about a rollercoaster ride & "The New Fish" -about prison life.
Phew!!!! You DO know how to kick off Halloween Eve. GREAT read and story. Thank you so very much. Stay well. 🎃🎃🎃
This is a truly haunting tale of gambling addiction from start to finish in a way slowly losing urself in the fast paced easy money that by the time u figure out how to win you've lost so much of urself that your no longer able to even remember who you once were
Mrcreepypasta another amazing video
Love this one. No monsters, no over the top unbelievable stuff, just sad reality
Well if you count losing your soul and all your memories as reality, then yes
If you ever needed a reason not to gamble this is it.
Yay, I’m so happy to see a longer video MCP! I’m sure this is going to be a really great one!
Edit: What a creepy yet sad tale! I was really rooting or the MC, he won and lost… 😏
I love that Elijah wood reads creepy pastas:)))
Wow now I can’t I unhear it
Omg me neither 😂
Great story. Hit a little too close to home.
Ahhh I love this story but it brought tears ❤️ I would love to hear more stories like this
Check out "the life that flashes" its another story with a strong message even if it does have a little supernatural elements to it.
So breaking bad (sorta) but with gambling and instead of the husband with cancer it’s the wife.
With a little squid game sprinkled in with the whole gambling aspect
Hiw have I only listened to this now?! I'm loving the creepy allegory to addiction
What a fantastic story! You the best Mr CP! Unbelievable job!
Heartbreaking 💔. That was so damn heartbreaking !!!!! 🥺😢💔
Oooo, super excited for this one :)
I know nothing about poker, but the writing and narration kept me really invested in every game, great story!
I like it you can play it for fun instead of money with friends. Good game for learning to read people and using statistics/strategy
MrCreepyPasta my guy, keep it up because man you’re just straight up talented
Amazing story, amazingly done, thank you!
Great one dude!
MCP is one of my top narrator's I spent long hours in a tractor working and am tired of all of the local radio stations but MCP keeps me on my toes of what might be the next twist or turn of the story and has no tells he may be "Cornell Sanders" retelling his conquests
Duh. Am.
DAMN!! That was amazingly well done. 10/10 Thanks for bringing us the BEST stories. This was a REALLY GOOD!!!
🤔((howdidimissthisone??!))
Yay a long one! ❤️ Ty!! ❤️ 😊
The ending was unexpected and awesome. The female was so short but effective
absolutely amazing! props to the author wonderful story
Man when I see u post I get so happy lol
Holy fuck the ending had me crying.
This is a very scary story. It could happen in a moment. Great narration 🦇🦇🎃🎃
This was more sad than creepy. Moral of the story, don't hide getting fired from your wife.
this was tragedy before it begins
This is sad-scary. A weepypasta.
Perfect for this Halloween weekend
some guy with red glasses and a pointed goatee talks to protagonist
protagonist: talking to him felt like making a deal with the devil
probably everyone listening: well duh
Best one in a while wow that was good
AWESOME story!! Now that is true horror!
High stakes sounds like a cow that smokes weed
This sounds like it would've aired on Twilight Zone.
Very cool.
That was wild
Absolutely love the intro. 🎃
Sad, sad story, though. 😢
''I've won, but at what cost"
The real horror in this story is the abysmal state of your health "care".
Great and sad story all in one.. well done👊👊👊
I felt the exact same way when looking for new employment a few years back! I felt so lost , out of touch with todays world and thats a really bad way to feel
What a well written story...
Thanks
This was so good I had to pick up when I woke up
This was a great story! I can't believe the ending made me cry! OMG so sad
Cannot WAIT for Christmas! I’ve already bought Christmas decor for my house and Halloween just passed. Let’s gooo!!
Damn, this one hit different
MCP !!! My town's library has a huge display with you on it for scary books ! I was excited to see it 💙
Oh no….this is heartbreaking
I know what it’s like to worry about the cost of chemotherapy treatments because I had cancer myself and each treatments is 15k and I was going 5 days (1 type of chemotherapy )a week for my first round and my second round was once a week (2 type of chemotherapy)
Bam right in the feels
You broke my heart with this story MCP...IMMA go sit in the corner now and cry...lol
Been sooo long since I listened to you
Still the magic right there
Can't wait to listen.
That was a pretty dang good story!
@cryptic_nightmares why did he lose his memory of her? I thought they said it was about whether you won more than you lost? I thought he wouldn't lose anything because it was based on your total of wins over losses being higher not the individual games.
No if he won more than lost his wife would be taken care of. If he lost more than won she wouldnt. He was going to win and lose memories regardless of his overall outcome. Even though he didnt know that is what was at stake.
@@cryptic_nightmares561 Ohh okay thanks for clearing that up! Great story!
Thank you. And im glad you had the question!
Oh my, this story is something. Really moved me. I feel my eyes being more watery than usual.
damn he tried so hard but ended up Losing what he as fighting for the entire time
Holy fucking shit, the first minute and a half hurt my soul...
Squidward
Great story. Sad that I can think of actual people who would risk their memories to pay for medical care in the US, but here we are...
i love the story but theres a huge plot hole, if he couldn't remember then couldn't he read his journal. it wasnt erased cause the wife transcribed it. idk. i love it tho.
What I would have done for my Mom. Lost her to stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. For a woman that wasn't always there. She was still my mom. Yes I know I have some issues. It still fucking hurts. Great read and great story.
This was a good story and I am so glad it didn't end via the oh Henry ending or turns out this was all for nothing ending
Never been this early!!! Yay!!!!!
What a tangled web we weave
unrelated, but i would like to turn uno into an acceptable game to play at casinos
This got me crying in the damn store what the fuck.
Okokok so he WON, right? Like she got the money needed. She was "taken care of", even was given the journal which they didn't need to do. He just lost his memory of her. Right???
... right?
* Pats head
There- there Alex
I think he lost much much more memories in vain attempt to get his original ones back.
Half way through losing himself, he would not even know which part of the memories are his own.
The guy that ended up being bartender even said, you can never get your own back, always others."
Growing up in Las Vegas differently teaches you when the cross roads moments are. Turn away and go home dude.
That was terrifying
Me: I'm not crying I got something in my eye ✌️
Bravo 👏
This story is how Breaking Bad would have gone if Walt really did get his money from gambling like they told Marie and if Skylar had the cancer instead.
Can't you buy insurance? Why wasn't that the first thing he bought?!
Ooohhhh $h!t it's an autumn ivy sneak in😃. Lol thanks guys!
I had a feeling this was going to happen.
Dude this was soooo good, very fucked up at the end, like damn.
