    I grew up here, I have seen places like this and these places. This is real how these rocks are and there is a spirituality that you gain. The black mountains, the canyons in the foothills of the Sierras, the Coso and Panamint ranges, the entire Mojave and it's ghosts inhabit the dreams of an awake soul, and will never leave you. They will march with great symbols across the desert, a giant thing, as you dream. A parade of braves, ten thousand years, have marched with feather color wooden banner across the sand, inhabit dreams, they marched and sang.

      I know this is true, because I have seen it with my own eyes! I also witnessed that golden line in the sky from The horizon to the zenith with the circle and it opened up like a crevasse and a resplendent heavenly Host of transcendent beings streamed out, into the world,uttering ravishing sounds and vibrations.

    Great video I just stumbled upon to. I grew up in Ridgecrest/ China Lake from 57-87. I used to see petroglyphs in peoples yards as decorations. We used to ride all threw that area on dirt bikes . Thanks for sharing what I did not know about this place!! Shalom from NW Montana

    I know EXACTLY where that is. Went there on an anthropology field trip one. The desert around Ridgecrest is absolutely littered with ancient abandoned village sites. Currently, we're having an out of control snake year. So, don't get bit. Antivenom is REAL expensive.

    • @storiesbyalex
      @storiesbyalex  Před 4 lety +4

      What made your motivation to see these sites any different than those who want to see them today or tomorrow? People who take the initiative to visit these sites go there to admire the history and not for the purpose of destruction. We have an option to cover-up and these sites. Or we can educate...............................alex

    Is that lava rocks? The big ones that look porus? {sp} the big ones that have a lot of small holes in it. Does it mean that maybe I group or family lived in the area? Or did you find signs of more rock circulars. Did the woman follow the men when he worked or hunted to feed him?
    Are these considered hunters and gathered?USA

      Hi, I was curious, too, so I looked up the people of this area:
      "The Coso people are an indigenous people of the Americas and Native American tribe associated with the Coso Range in the Mojave Desert of California in the southwestern United States. They are of the Uto-Aztecan language and spoke one of several Numiclanguages, related to that of the Northern Paiute."

      Hello Frans, thanks for watching and your comments. In the very beginning I actually used a Panasonic photo camera that had video capability. This did not produce a quality image, but it was the beginning. Later, I upgraded to a video camera and for the past 6 years I have used a hand held Panasonic TM 900 video camera. For editing, I use Power Director. For your information, I have produced several videos from Spain( Viera & Menga Doleman, Celtic Rock Art of Galicia, Acinipo - Abandonded Roman City, & Culture In Spain) and in Portgual (Coa Valley).............alex

    I do not think that was a lion tail brother, but many times they were interpreting living alongside dinosaurs. It isn't "text book" school taught knowledge concerning these living Giants. This knowledge is recent and due to many new excavations which have carvings and ancient inscriptions with natives and giant dinosaurs. Do some new age archeological reviews and you'll see what I mean. I think the thing you are calling it's tail is actually it's long head and the tail was destroyed. We didn't draw it so who really can say. Plus it's crude art as you previously stated yourself. Look up other recent digs and see what this compares to. I think you'll be very surprised and might even realise that it could probably be a rendering of either perspective. Good stuff. Great hike. Great job!!! Bkessings

    Was in the el pasos near red rock canyon back in the late 90's..found some artifacts and was enjoying the adventure.. until someone took a couple shots at me. Bullets whizzed by overhead. I high tailed it outta there. Never did see who it was. Later I found out by a buddy who worked for BLM that some native sacred sights have "caretakers" that will keep an eye on their ancestral areas and if you're getting too nosey or try to take artifacts they'll make sure you leave and don't come back, or you'll go "missing"..as he put it, there's lots of old mine shafts all over that area that bodies can dissappear into. Just be careful out there.

    If you are the one to perform soil testing, you are desecrating their religious sites. Show respect for what the ancients have left behind. You don't need to pick it up, move it or anything else you feel you are entitled to do. The ancients regarded everything as a gift from their god, plants, rocks and water and should not be disturbed by anyone other than the descendants of the ancient people.

      Mel, I agree that there are foolish and ignorant people who have defaced various historical sites. But are you so sure that the only people drawn to these sites are the "wrong" people and that they are destroying these sites? Most of the sites I have visited have been explored by many people before me and for the most part they have remained intact. My observation is that many more sites have been destroyed through urban or suburban expansion rather than someone trekking out to the wilderness to visit a site............................alex
