I've lived in Saudi Arabia for 20 years..and I've got an archeology background. For years I've been yelling , ""Stop the car and let me take photos! This has to be something archeological!" I'm so happy to finally see this!! They are absolutely everywhere in the northwest of the country.. It's been obvious to people living here for a very very looooong time.... Then the western archeologists arrive like heroic Columbus "discovering" America.
Don't blame western academics for all the ills of the world. I'm not from that mind set
but rather of eastern philosophical back ground. I believe what has been stalling any
academic developments in SA and many Islamic countries is exactly that. Islam.
They won't allow anything to have existed before Islam and rather destroy any evidence of it. That mind set didn't allow academics from exploring.

what's interesting to me is that the Bedouin locals knew the Mustatil predated the Nabateian structures, and their chief even said it was relayed to him by his ancestors that these are from the stone age. Very impressive if they knew that based on oral tradition alone.

they have always been stone worshipers, the kaaba, the obelisk there...I think that most of costumes and uses of islam were already existing, they just put a new name to it, and redacted certain idea... and mohammed impossed his version of his tribe to the rest, versions that wouldn´t vary that much in most of the cases, I think that is makes it possible, in some cases, the rapid explosion and expansion of some empires of the past, in a way most of the job was done, just that one strong ruler managed to "put the sh..t together".

It is important to know whether there was a person named Mohammad or it was just a myth. No Islamic or non-Islamic sources know about the Prophet Muhammad before the 9th century. There is no proof that his companions Abu Bakr, Umar, Osman, Ali existed or not. Why are they not found many things used by Egyptian kings thousands of years ago?

Most religious countries or undeveloped countries destroyed their artifacts to cover up things that contradict their religion. As Rome colonized 5 continents by the 1750s, they destroyed artifacts. In fact it was one of the templars main jobs. Islam does the same. That is why Britain saved as much as it could, so it would not be destroyed. Now they are slandered for it by a world that is colonized militarily and economically by Rome and Islam, openly or covertly. That is why we are in crisis all over again.
The history of al ula is also told in the quran saying "those who lived in alula were granted with mighty strength" They built all of the houses temples and statues with their bare hands.

While ancient Arabia tribes and their amazing buildings and carvings were mentioned repeatedly in Quran, there is no mention of Alula people under this specific name so this phrase doesn't exists in the Quran.

@@Allinda. It doesnt mention Al-Ula by name but it describes the people of Prophet Saleh called Thamud (which the name for one of sites Mada’in Saleh derived from) who lived there. The people of Thamud were much stronger than the people of Prophet Hud (Eber in the Bible) called the people of 'Aad who came before them, strong enough to carve and build such enormous homes and palaces. They are described in Surah Al-A'raf (Chapter 7) Verses 65-78. This verse however describes the ancient carved homes and palaces we've so far discovered in Al-Ula.
"Remember when He made you successors after ’Âad (referring to the people of Thamud) and established you in the land-˹and˺ *you built palaces on its plains and carved homes into mountains.* So remember Allah’s favours, and do not go about spreading corruption in the land.” [7:74]

I always wish to visit Saudi Arabia to travel and learn about ancient architect.
This is one of the only things that make me sorry I'm getting old. They have found so much in the last 30 yrs. or so that it completly changes everything we were taught in school! They don't even have time to write a book on ancient history any more. I've learned more in the last 5 years than most of my life.
There is no telling what could be uncovered under the thousands of sand hills throughout the deserts around Taif, Jeddah, and other cities. The sand storms cover any structures in the desert. So there is no telling what is under all that sand
They won't find Jimmy Hoffa.
Probably easy to uncover at least until the next sandstorm.

In a manner, but the systement , "we are interested in the past" isn't true. They are interested in information. Which is different. They seek something other than what they are telling you. For instance, they seek a connection to their alien race that they call the "architects". But according to history even, we have sumerians and those who built the great Pyramids which they left no signature. Egyptians left their language, but the original builders didn't.
This places them before historically recorded history. Because all historical evidences were wiped away, in a post-apocalyptic event. It is called the Flood. Recorded by the Same dynasty that created the silk road, recorded an event that only 8 people left a boat and inhabited the earth after this worldwide Flood event. If 10000 years is their starting point, then it wasn't an alien race, but human beings that lived a few millennium on this earth before the Chinese wrote about that Flood.

Many people are looking for “steps to salvation.” People like the idea of an instruction manual with five steps that, if followed, will result in salvation. An example of this is Islam with its Five Pillars. According to Islam, if the Five Pillars are obeyed, salvation will be granted. Because the idea of a step-by-step process to salvation is appealing, many in the Christian community make the mistake of presenting salvation as a result of a step-by-step process. Roman Catholicism has seven sacraments. Various Christian denominations add baptism, public confession, turning from sin, speaking in tongues, etc., as steps to salvation. But the Bible only presents one step to salvation. When the Philippian jailer asked Paul, “What must I do to be saved?” Paul responded, “Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved” (Acts 16:30-31).
Faith in Jesus Christ as the Savior is the only “step” to salvation. The message of the Bible is abundantly clear. We have all sinned against God (Romans 3:23). Because of our sin, we deserve to be eternally separated from God (Romans 6:23). Because of His love for us (John 3:16), God took on human form and died in our place, taking the punishment that we deserve (Romans 5:8; 2 Corinthians 5:21). God promises forgiveness of sins and eternal life in heaven to all who receive, by grace through faith, Jesus Christ as Savior (John 1:12; 3:16; 5:24; Acts 16:31).
Salvation is not about certain steps we must follow to earn salvation. Yes, Christians should be baptized. Yes, Christians should publicly confess Christ as Savior. Yes, Christians should turn from sin. Yes, Christians should commit their lives to obeying God. However, these are not steps to salvation. They are results of salvation. Because of our sin, we cannot in any sense earn salvation. We could follow 1000 steps, and it would not be enough. That is why Jesus had to die in our place. We are absolutely incapable of paying our sin debt to God or cleansing ourselves from sin. Only God could accomplish our salvation, and so He did. God Himself completed the “steps” and thereby offers salvation to anyone who will receive it from Him.
Salvation and forgiveness of sins is not about following steps. It is about receiving Christ as Savior and recognizing that He has done all of the work for us. God requires one step of us-receiving Jesus Christ as our Savior from sin and fully trusting in Him alone as the way of salvation. That is what distinguishes the Christian faith from all other world religions, each of which has a list of steps that must be followed in order for salvation to be received. The Christian faith recognizes that God has already completed the steps and simply calls on the repentant to receive Him in faith.

I’m Saudi and when I take a plane and see these structures, I always wonder who built it and for what purpose because these are scattered throughout Arabian peninsula. At some point, I know it’s for some ancient rituals due to the fact these are hard to be distinguished unless you are some feet above the land but I wouldn’t imagine these are soo old like 7000 years old. My favourite structures are the triangle with circle on its head,I think these deserve to be studied. Arabian peninsula must be archaeologically discovered since it’s one of the first places that ancient human migration started out of African continent and Arabia was definitely different from what it is today in term of weather and terrains.
There is more than what we have been told about our history. Advanced techniques way older than actual history. Similar techniques everywhere around the world that we cannot explain, America, Europe, Asia, etc.

Hey Michael, there is nothing like Muslim or non-Muslim to be allowed to travel to SA. There are only two locations which are limited for Muslims and that is from religious perspective since they are sacred places and non-Muslim are forbidden to be there. Also, Saudi Arabia has launched new policy for international tourists from almost 50 countries (mostly non-Muslim majority countries as some people like to call it) and it will take you less than an hour to have it without any invitation ( check visitsaudi.com). Unfortunately, these eVISAs are suspended due to COVID-19 restrictions recently. You are more than welcome to visit the country when the life get normal again.

This is like walking on March. The last place on earth with that density of undiscovered archeological treasures. Archeological tourists will abuse the fuck out of it, lol.

I doubt the site will be open to tourist for a long time. Artifacts will be placed in a museum along with photos of the site.

@@EEA75 - Interesting, although half of the video is you traveling to the place. I'd say (educated guess) that it's a massive ancient cemetery: each mound a tomb, each precint maybe a family burial/ceremonial plot, the open one a communal area. The (relatively) fertile lands are downhill, right?

Down below the area is dry also, desert area...but at one point in time it definitely looks to have had a river or rivers down below and probably very fertile wet land. You make a very good observation about it being a cemetery. Why do you think the areas are not any specific shape like a perfect circle or triangle like similar ancient gravesites found in Saudi Arabia?

There was one or two shots where you captured that downhill landscape but very briefly. Not enough for me to evaluate but seems like broken by ancient rivers, the kind of which existed in Arabia (and the Sahara) in the "pluvial" periods. I'd conjecture that the people lived downhill and that was probably their cemetery. Hopefully your video will attract someone with academic influence into properly excavating those mysterious mounds.

@@AliciaMully It's from what we call "Hadith" which is the prophetic traditions(mainly what he said, but also observations of what he did and did not do) of prophet Muhammad, the Hadith/Hadeeth is not only that part but regarding your question it starts with " the hour won't rise" a literal translation, it doesn't specify which hour but in Arabic that means the time of something not hour as in measurement, and most Islamic scholars agree that it refers to the Judgment day (not dooms day, that's not a correct vocab in Islamic traditions), anyway the last part says "Murooj wa Anhar" wa = and, it says in plural, murooj means meadow and grasslands, an umbrella term for anything similar (Arabic has a lot of specific words for specific things), anhar is rivers, indicating that at some point the Arabian peninsula was a fertile land in ancient history, which at the time of the prophet it wasn't and people then believed it was a dessert since forever, but recent research proves that it was indeed fertile lands, you can google it, but if i remember correctly I think max planck institute has a lot of research on that, and it was around the ice age before 10k years, since the only livable belt on earth was on the horizontal line around the Arabian peninsula, that's why most/all ancient civilizations were on that line, Arabia/egypt/levant/ and indus in east. feel free to ask more, I don't want to spam more since it looks like a report :).

@@AliciaMully Hey :), thank you, and you are welcome, I heard about that before but honestly I never checked Gaelic, I may know the reason but I better know a timeframe first so I can try to connect it, but in reality I can prove to you that there is a connection between Arabic and most human languages, there is even a discussion is Arabic or Sanskrit the mother of all tongues, but I can easily omit out Sanskrit(Many just wanted to believe so because they think it's an ancestor of indo-European), but my proof is easy, that most Sanskrit comes from an ancient extinct language (Ge'ez) from ethiopia, that comes from Arabic but the western resources say "Southern Ancient Arabic" but if you check Ge'ez words, it is exactly Arabic, even the same as of modern standard Arabic, anyway, I'd like to chat with you about that too and anything you wanted to discuss :).

I am happy to have traveled a lot, but somehow the highlight of my travels was Saudi Arabia, wich I visited last year, just before pandemic. I never cried, fascinated by the the beauty of a place, a city, nature, sights, until coming to Saudi Arabia and visiting Alula. We drove for 8 hours that day, fantastic scenery of the landscape that is constantly changing. The moment we were descending towards Alula I started crying, for some inexplicable reason, maybe because I was where few people were, maybe because of the beauty and unusual rock formations, or just the excitement. This place iz so amazing...

wow.. old town is fascinating! it's construction reminds me of some of the first large human settlements such as Çatalhöyük, Aşıklı Höyük, and other truly ancient early human villages going back 12,000+ years... I feel like we could learn a few things from it.

More than likely pre diluvian. Same as the Sphinx and great Giza pyramids. Egyptians came along reshaped the head and scribbled all over everything. Chisels pulleys and ropes built these megalithic structures around the world? Laughable

Mustatil looked like a cattle enclosure used to keep them safe at night from predators and probably had wood or straw materials covering them from the sun. Modern cattle herders in East Africa use the same technique. The circular structures could've been used to hold feed or water for the animals.

To answer the last question, I hope that they will be able to find and analyze the DNA of these ancient humans. Very interesting and happy to see how exited and proud are the locals to finally start to dig into their past. If they are their ancestors. Local legends were true, these monuments are very very old.

I’m not trained, only an infinitely curious, lifetime observer of archeology and anthropology. However my very first thought when they discovered the bones was a processing center created to preserve (smoke) meats. A place where any (nomadic?) tribe/family group could bring their animals. This may have even been during a particular season or time of year, creating a great gathering place for large groups to interact, trade and possibly intermarry among other activities. Although the actual experts there have probably considered this & dismissed it or it would have been mentioned.
I think youre heading in the right direction. I think that some of the site are astrological. And the reference to the egyptians is no mistake. They could have been the early egyptians practicing their art. So the sites could be a place where they made offerings to the gods or led the way to the heavens while travelling to the after life.

It's encouraging to see the Kingdom open its borders now, to both tourists and scientists alike, to study the ancient landscape that is so close to the Fertile Crescent. I sincerely hope this continues with enlightened guidance from the international scientific community and the enlightened self-interest of the Saudi people for what can benefit the entire planet. Who knows what wonderous, fantastical, and amazing discoveries wait beneath rock, sediment, and sand of the Arabian peninsula? We are at the cusp of global totalitarianism. Science is now a mercenary for hire. There will be no trust in institutions, science will be looked upon with suspicion. And it will be well deserved, sadly. Science as the mechanism to gain knowledge is beautiful. But in the hands of powerful businessmen it's just another tool of control. I would like to be as optimistic as you are, but I can't anymore. These past two years made me cynical beyond the point of safe return.
@@YellowKing1986 I agree with original poster but good luck getting there and back home if there's a lockdown from yet another "new" strain. Think we're already there, totalitarianism; not just the cusp anymore. It's been plans in the making for a very long term goal (like all secret societies they do make long term projects lasting 100-300+yrs in advance) and patience they do have. They just keep us busy as serfs with drugs they let in, encouraging people to legally drink for every occasion or every day, and other things/events to take mind away from the hell of being a slave/worker 40+hrs a week for $12-15/hr that you can't even live off of anymore. Good luck finding a SAFE 1 bed house with that income.
Science is looked at with suspicion directly from this covid 1, 2, 3 and now 4 (Omicron) because it's an enterprise now, funded and owned by big pharma who pulls all the strings. For all I know they're making this stuff up, how do I know for sure? Like what's the new medical term for nail fungus? *making this up as example:
New disease: Toenail Fibrosys Tennatusmenatus. Treatment? Pills approved just last week by FDA. Now ive never had fungus lol, but you could go down to cvs and surely get a product that does it for you for $4. No money to insurance, no money to doctor, no money to big pharma. You have any idea how crazy mad that makes them? Like making their own cbd & thc pills now. It's a corner of the market pharma dosent have (yet) but want to control just like all else so the "spice" flows only from them.
Could see them lobbying and winning the ivory toilet guys in washington to make it illegal to grow your own in the future, so that people can't have a lifetime free supply to help them relax and calm down if they don't drink or take anti psychotic meds, or benzos etc. "We've got a new pill for that! Just make doc appt, only a $75 copay despite work taking $64 monthly, plus $ at the pharm; you'll be happy!" Ugh.
Medical science has been corrupted by *money* and greed. It's no longer about "heal thy patient". Thats a dead dream now. They make diseases or conditions up each year for excuses for docs to prescribe pills, where everyone but the patient comes out ahead. Years later, when you're dealing with liver damages from meds, or if addicted; you can't even sue. All they do is keep giving you more pills. That's it.
Sorry so long, but I get a little angry sometimes because the work I do, I'm in ways caught in the middle of it all. Would like to whistle blow the whole thing down but theyd kill my family or make it look like I did it for sure.
