The French Navy Tarifa T-shirt looks terrific...and it almost looks like there's a neat opportunity to do a full bust adjustment just using those seam lines!
Oh dear, pension spent before getting out of bed. What a lovely selection this week! I’m good for them all, but I really love the beanie. I had a fairisle knit beanie I lost in a storm in Edinburgh almost thirty years ago, and I’m still in mourning. This might snap me out of it😅
Brilliant as ever. I look forward to this blog every Sunday. Only problem is that I end up wanting at least 2 patterns and haven’t time to make them all!
Yes I look forward to your weekly videos, but excite me with too many ideas! 😂🤣 Seriously though, I really appreciate your weekly videos….keep giving us these unique insights!
gotta say - those vest variations caught my eye. Layering and playing with fabrics. Vests are on my basics list and even though the patterns don't come with closures, in the right fabrics a frog-style closure or button and chain type closure would be fun. So many options!
French Navy have done it again! Two amazing patterns that are just a bit different. What a great pattern company they are and their sewalong instructions are clear.
Great pattern pics Kate. I've had an idea to extend the bodice of the TAL Shirt Dress and make a gathered skirt for it - based on a dress I seen last year. 😻
Love these round up videos, they’re great inspiration. A video on wedding guest outfit patterns would be so good, I have a wedding coming up and am close to just making a saguaro set and having done!
Buyer Beware, French Navy Patterns: I think the French Navy Tarifa T is so cute - in fact I purchased it right away. I didn't have a fabric in my stash, so I waited to download the pattern until I found just what I wanted - pink stripe cotton jersey. I was so excited when my fabric arrived. Alas, I went to my email to retrieve the download link (I hadn't even opened the email prior.) The email stated that said link was valid for 30 days. It has been approximately 34 days, and the link is null. I emailed the pattern company right away (that was 3 days ago) requesting a new link. I have not heard a word from them. I am SO disappointed!
I absolutely love your videos. You are a really big part of The Fold Line for me. Thank You so much.
Thank you so much! I could happily chat about sewing patterns all day!

It is such an interesting take on the humble tee!

I'm so glad you like the videos! If only there was more time to sew!
Thank you love the t-shirt
The Tribeca blouse is very interesting! Not sure it would look great on my body, but it's definitely fascinating.
They create such interesting details for their patterns!

thanks for the review. The French Navy Tee is an exact dupe of "Fit for Art" Tabula Rasa.
Thank you Kate,another great video.

You're right! That would be a lovely detail (that's practical too!)

Hello Kath. Did you purchase the pattern from us? If so send an email to hello@thefoldline.com and we will sort it out for you right away!
I thought the Dockers beanie was cute and different. Bought and made it. Daughter said it looks like a head condom.
😂😂😂😂
