So happy you did a video on this I’m about to remodel my old one and fix it up - it’s such a unique car
I have a one too, I can't wait until I fix mine up as well.
I have a blue 1992 4 door and a white 1996 4 door. 3.1 Multiport and 3100. True modern classics. You can see in cars today....the DNA of these cars.
They're a great car. We have loved having this one here. There are a lot of neat features and options on these that you just don't see.
I believe this is a 1993 because of the bucket rear seats. I bought one of these new in 1992 and it was a bench rear seat. I had to order it because I wanted cloth interior not the leather. Loved this car! Had it for over 8 years. Sooooo much fun to drive. The 3.1liter engine was pretty fast with the dual exhaust.
They offered buckets in the back in 1992 I have seen a few
@@Zargon7777 I ordered a 1992. No bucket seats in the back. I would have gotten them if they were offered. Must have been a 1993 you saw. I still have the brochure for the 1992 Cutlass.
@@Zargon77771992 had the bucket seats if ordered that way. I have just seen one myself. Maybe it was a late 92 thing
Very reliable I had one
This is a great presentation of how to sell a car! Great job guys! But, there are some discrepancies here and not quite all original.
This car has had some things added. No harm done as they're tastefully presented and are all Oldsmobile pieces...just not correct for a 92/3.1 car. The alloys, lip tail lights/spoiler, and rear buckets with console have been added from a 93-94 LQ1 convertible. With the exception of the 5 star alloys, only the LQ1 optioned convertibles got the previously mentioned pieces from factory. This car left GM with the sawblade alloys and not the 5 stars shown here, NON lip tail lights/spoiler, and the standard rear BENCH seat...no rear console.
It is a stunning color combo though and very nice car that will hopefully go to a good home!
You are correct and thank you for the feedback. We did not realize that these items were added until after we did a little more research after the video, but we agree with you that they were tastefully added. We loved the color combo as well and the car did go to a good home.
parting out my 92 Cutlass Convertible, nice white top, nice burgundy interior, good looking olds mag rims, and more. Sorry front clip got hit by a tree :(
Where you located
@@jeremiahhicks9947 I'm in SF California
Do you have the convertible top gaskets?
I only have the seats and rims left
I have one, need passenger door connecting rod from door handle to latch, these car were built by a vendor and have different parts than regular production modles.
Correct, all convertibles started out as coupes and then were sent to ASC for convertible conversions. The metal top was cut off and the convertible top and it's mechanism was added along with structural bracing. But, the door handle linkages are NOT specific to the convertibles. Since they started out as coupes from GM, they share those identical parts along with the coupes.
No hud no 5 speed manual ?
How tall are yall in the front seat just trying to figure out comfort of leg room
We are both right around 6 feet tall.
Beautiful Car, is it for sale or not?
