  • LIVE COVERAGE: Robert Durst Testifies Live For The Murder of Friend Susan Berman
Robert Durst stands trial for the 2000 murder of friend Susan Berman. The trial began just before the pandemic in early 2020 and was halted two weeks in. The restart happened on May 17, 2021, with the same jury panel.
The defendant’s wife Kathleen McCormack Durst went missing in 1982. Evidence and testimony would show that Robert Durst killed her, the prosecutor said. The defendant allegedly told Berman it was an accident and asked her for help. She served as his alibi.
Berman, 55, was shot execution-style at her Beverly Hills home in 2000, and the prosecution suggested that it was because of what she knew about Kathleen’s death and disappearance. As defense lawyer Dick DeGuerin would have it, however, Durst is innocent. His client only came across the body, panicked, and fled, he maintained.

I think most sane people would believe this is enough evidence to convict him of murder. That said, not all jurors are sane. So, I can’t predict what the jury will do. But it’s simply unfathomable to believe this man has an innocent bone in his body. He’s murdered at least 3 people, that we know of.

Durst pressed the brake on the flu of the story, which shows that he feels like he's walking on shards of glass. if I were that person accused, being innocent, I would speak to the prosecutor harder and too much ! to explain him and to Jury any ambiguity or concerns or misunderstanding. Mr Lewin lied about the games, Frisbee and Uno both existed, but were called Pluto Platter and Crazy 8’s, frisbee and Uno were the trademarked names that we now use. I thought that was very deceptive on his part. Im sure Durst did what he was accused of but I hate when lawyers pull the fake gotcha bs like that. I have pictures of my dad in high school in 1951, playing “frisbee” with his friends in his year book. I hope Deguerin rebuts this.

This plays into Bobs hands. He is a liar, compulsive and he probably killed them. But all Lewin is doing is proving he tells stories and also impeaching him on The Jinx which Lewin points out Bobs day to day lies in that documentary as well further proving anything he said on the Jinx is unreliable including the confession. Bob told 2 different versions of the same story on the documentary one day apart and Lewin himself points this out. This long cross of Durst is s bad idea because the more Bob talks the more he proves this point. He makes everything up, which makes everything he has ever said suspect.

With or without a conviction, although the last option would be the happy case, one thing remains in history! Not the towers built by the Durst family from a grandfather who came from Gorlice with empty pockets and great American dreams, than this representative element as Robert Durst, a scientific case, for what it means lack of family cohesion and maladaptation to the child's skills, in the pursuit of fame and fortune. How his family does read our comments here, knowing how much was the work and sacrifice of the grand-father. A big shame.

They got him off before, after dismembering a man and throwing his body parts in a bay and I would caution anyone thinking he will be easily convicted here. Lewin is a clown and is totally overacting. He makes lame attempts to paint a picture to the jury that Durst was physically abusive to Kathy when clearly he was not. Taking a purse and coat to Kathy and saying, “it’s time to go” is far from an act of violence. Lewin thinks that he is a star but unfortunately for him, he is not. A narcissist, yes indeed.
