- Today's video is a very special one for me, now that I have moved out of the first place I called home in central Florida I wanted to take the opportunity to share my Florida apartment tour of my first ever apartment. I first moved in to this apartment in January 2022 when I started my Disney College Program and began working for disney world. Anyone beginning their dcp and looking to live off-site I would recommend this area of central Florida. I began my moving to florida journey in the town of Celebration Florida which happens to be the town that Disney built. I plan to share more content from this amazing town soon. I have absolutely fallen in love with it and would definitely recommend to anyone looking to relocate to Florida or planning on moving to Orlando Florida! Celebration is a close drive to Walt Disney World. From my apartment balcony I could actually see the Epcot fireworks which was something that brought me so much peace and comfort. I feel so blessed I got to have my time here and get to know the incredible community. I made so many friendships and love that this place was apartment of my life.

Hello! My name is Megan! I have a love for traveling especially to my favorite destination in the world, Walt Disney World! I am a huge fan of all things Disney Parks. My family and I have been Disney World Annual Passholders for about 10 years. We love making memories together in our happy place. I have always loved documenting our trips through photos and in 2014 I felt inspired to capture our memories in an even more in-depth way. I have visited all of the Disney Parks in the United States: Disneyland, California Adventure, Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom! It is my dream to one day visited all the international Disney Parks as well! My travel interests also go beyond the Disney Parks, I love vlogging my cruise vacations and trips to all-inclusive resorts!
I am from Pennsylvania and grew up in a small town outside of Philadelphia. My dream is to soon relocate to the Orlando area and live near Disney!

I’ll never forget about 18 months ago I moved to central Florida and was in the international drive area near Gaylord Palms. The first night I heard the fireworks from my bedroom was just so magical. It reminded me of the reasons I moved.
It never got old hearing the fireworks. Such a special reminder of where you live
@@MagicalMeg I recently moved a little further away to a house myself. A few weeks ago while walking to get the mail I realized that I could still hear the Epcot fireworks. Brought a huge smile to my face.
There's a book written by some of the 1st residents of Celebration called "Celebration USA: Living in Disney's Brave New Town" excellent read.
I hadn’t heard of that one. I will definitely check it out!

Celebration is very nice and safe… and on the higher end of rent/mortgage. I wouldn’t be able to afford it with my current pay, but I’m in a different state.

Such wonderful memories! In a couple of years, you're going to look back and be really happy that you made this particular video. Saw your golf clubs in the closet, how often have you gotten to play down there, the courses are gorgeous! (Our oldest has been playing golf for about a year and a half)

Mickey is SOOO adorable sleeping on the window sill. I just want to pet him and cuddle him! But it looks like he was giving the camera the side eye when he was on the patio furniture. 😂

Such a beautiful apartment……. With a fireworks view! 👍 It’s almost the exact layout of the apartment I had when I lived in Colorado. 😊 oh my gosh Meg!!!!, when you teared up, that’s just like me! I get attached to places too and it’s very hard to let go of the place that holds the memories. I feel ya! 💗

What a sweet video! Celebration is lovely. Is this where most cast members stay? I was wondering where everyone who works at Disney lives.
I'm so torn on living in Celebration. Single again in my early 50's, it's hard to know what is best. I love Disney. I love the idea of being literally minutes of Epoct! Just not sold on the apartment living on count of noise. I'm so use to complete quiet at night. It's a big sacrifice to live in an apartment vs a giant home. Guess only way to find out how it is. One year lease. How bad can it be, be ,be, be...... LOL.

Our view on our highrise faces Tampa Bay. We have been here 3 years. Going on 4 Just resigned a lease. We used to live in Celebration. 5 years there.

Did you know Tampa has more Irish pubs than NYC!!! Your family is Irish? My husband is. Gave our kids Irish names. Tampa - St Petersburg is stunning. Yes come visit!

New here. I notice you are speaking about the place in past tense. Do you not live there anymore? I am looking to buy a home in windermere soon as it cools down some. Want it right behind magic kingdom to see the fireworks. Do you think Celebrations is better than windermere?
Thank you for this video. I have always wanted to work at Disney. I am so glad I saw this. It gives me hope that i can come down and work at Disney when i retire in 3 years. Any advice on where to live and how to commute to parks wilk be welcomed.

If you like Disney so much why not get a part time job again at Disney? There are many jobs available there that would be fun and also enjoy the magic. It would be better than the college program.

Yeah the place is great if you are well off money wise. A lot of people can't afford the high prices for rent . The place was nice though.

I don’t stan apartments that are just one big living room/kitchen combo. Those are limiting in how you can decorate
