There really is a sort of glory to this version….the sort befitting a steel giant like Henry.

Once an engine that was bad at building steam, yet had the world's most greatest theme. :)
I am only 11, and I grew up with seasons 8-11, but I actually mainly watch the original stuff just for nostalgia, and the fact that I'm growing out of Thomas the Tank Engine. But, THAT DON'T STOP ME FROM SITTING DOWN TO WATCH AND LISTEN... to the original series through my headphones on my iPad. The music was one of the best parts to the show.

Indeed, the music did capture various feelings and sentiments, both in the characters and ourselves. This may give you an idea of my relatively advanced age, but I remember watching the older episodes on VHS when I was growing up.
When I was 8 or 9 years old i grow up with seasons 1,2 and maybe third half of the season 3 and I can say for me they are the best of thomas shows then these today
I haven’t watched the show in almost 4 years. Listening to this music again brings back the memories and tears.
..from 1984 until now, i never stopped watching. i never stopped loving and i never stopped collecting the toys and plushies.. i may be almost 30, but im a kid again when i watch thomas.. although i can only stomach the first two seasons with ringo starr.. it doesnt change the fact i am a huge and adoring fan ♥ this is beautiful, thank you!

My little boy (3) absolutely loves these SilverDragonTV Thomas themes - these arrangements sound so full and well-made - we play them loud in my car as we're driving! I wish there was more - like the Mavis theme and of course the Donald & Douglas theme.

it would make good music for today's Thomas and friends. a bit of classic a bit of new.
I as a kid loved the theme, it's a short tune but I love the beginning because of the moodiness, seriousness, and actiony feel that it had; When I hear this, I imagine NOT just Henry taking the namesake train, but ANYTHING including a train in the middle of the night readying to make an important or important but dangerous delivery or journey to a either secret or EQUALLY important location.

OH yes, Thomas may have lost a little seriousness and quality due to the late live-action, early to current CGI version, but having been born in '92 and grew up on it among other shows; Thomas T.T.E. forever!!!!

Amazing how Henry has had 3 incidents with the Kipper. 1st was when the Signal froze and jammed the switch forcing Henry into the back of a goods train. 2nd was when Duck ran into the back of the train as the tail lamp fell off while he was trying to catch up. 3rd was when Henry hit a flooded washout along the coastline. It amazes me that despite these mishaps, Henry is still working the route.
