The z900 is a beautiful beast! I have a 2020 blue and I love it! The sound is so addictive. The Z in my opinion, is not a beginner bike for sure! After a year of a 400- 750, then it’s safe to get the Z.
Where I live, the price difference between the two bikes is almost even. 2023 MT 07 is $8,100. 2023 Z900 is $8,300. Tough decision.

Come on man, MT07 or Z900? I had an MT,now have a Z among 5 other bikes. The Z is superb and will blow the Yamaha away. I also had an MT09 and wouldn't trade back. This 4 banger is one of the best I've ridden. I've been riding a long time and too much hype surrounds the MT series.
Z900 vs MT09, fair comparison. This is no comparison. I have the Z. Not even close.
Nice video. Although we know these 2 are different in power starting from the cc, (680cc 74Hp Vs 948cc 125HP) the difference in prices is minimum, barely $500USD here in Mexico (Yamaha MT07: $239,999MX Kawasaki Z900 ABS Version $249,999MX). I'll obviosuly get the Kawasaki.

You need to compare z900 against the MT 09, thats the proper class level between those 2.

I currently have a 2022 mt07 and trying to decide if I want to trade it for a 2023 z900 🤔

@@timm2096 I ended up making the trade. The weight difference is barely noticeable. The torque output on the z900 is better. I find the mt07 more confortable, but I like the slightly leaned forward angle on the z900 as it helps with wind at speed.
Why would you compare the MT-07 with the Z900? Should be MT-07 and Z650, or MT-09 and Z900.
I think many people ask themselves if they should get a bigger bike or start on the smaller one. Those two bikes are very popular and I owned them both, that’s why I took those models to compare :)

@@amococ2487 Thank you! I also thought about it, but 1600$ more for the upgraded suspension and the motor seems reasonable to me if you can afford the 1600$.
@MyRide OK, definitely worth thinking about in the US. Price difference in the UK is £2,500-£3,000. (Depending on if you go for the new TFT screen on the MT-07)
Which bike did you sell after 2k km? It's unclear in the video since you're talking about 2 bikes, but you only refer to it as "the bike".
