Zach Johnson, the “Millennial Farmer” is a 5th-generation farmer who’s spent his life growing, working, and learning on his family’s farm. His wit and dry sense of humor appeal to children and adults alike. A product of the millennial generation, his appreciation of new technology blends with his old-fashioned work ethic, and he offers a unique ability to deliver his message in a way that resonates with lifelong farmers as well as those with no knowledge of agriculture. With growing consumer awareness about where their food comes from, Zach has identified the need for an independent voice from the front lines of agriculture. Zach actively promotes agriculture by sharing his day-to-day experiences in the agriculture world while providing farmer-to-farmer education to help facilitate a collaborative conversation between farmers and the public.

You know it’s a good day when you get a 30 min Millennial farmer upload!!! Thanks Zach and Becky!
Glad to hear Jim is doing well and that we may see him back soon. Always enjoy seeing him in the videos.
What's wrong with him?
@@maschinenmediahad some surgery
Has he come back yet?@@pavs7239
Your dad is so cool. Just seems like such a nice humble man all the time.
onyx needs his own personal camera for christmas
True
Pedo
Yes that would be awesome
He isn't a big fan of being on camera yet
Ya he should
You just activated my Alexa in Scotland, you’re a international influencer.👍🏴
Same here in New Zealand 😊, thanks Zach
It'll be good to see Jim again!
Whoever your editor is deserves so much credit. We really like your channel.
"knockers bouncing" is probably the best movie quite you've dropped in a while. Well played, Sir.
Good to hear that Jim is doing good. It's amazing to see the growth of Onyx over the time he's been in your videos. It's awesome to see him, your dad and yourself working together. Awesome video Zach. High 5 to Becky for the editing. 🚜🚜🚜
We need more jim in our life. Every farm needs a jim. Im sitting here on my picnic table smelling my burgers and taters on my drum smoker watching one of my favorite you tuber, at 80* today keeping myself hydrated with some cold snacks while im hoping my ALS allows me to farm another year or two. Lifes good. Thanks johnsons for your time. It helps me cope.
Thanks Zach. Your humor is always right on. Thanks for the update on Jim.
There is no way I could keep up with you Zach, don't know how you keep everything straight in your head, You totally amaze me.
He has apps.
That's because simple things please simple minds!
It's a new world of technology, but that also adds to having to multi task in your actions. Zach's nickname should be "combine" because he's a real workhorse.
Great news about Jim.Tell him all1.05 million subscribers are rooting for him. Thanks Zach :)
Zach if you measure your hand wide open from the tip of your pinky to the tip of your thumb ( should be around 10 inches ). Then when ever you need a tape measure you'll always have one on hand ( no pun intended ) LOL
Nice to see Onyx's comment when he went with Grand dad. Give him time and he will talk more when it is right for him. Great Kid you can be proud of him!
Dang it! Now Taylor is on my Alexa! Wheel chair ol Jim back out there!
I really like watching this pod cast. I really enjoy seeing the 3 generations! I am just a humble pastor who really respects the hard working farmers. You are the back bone of our country!
Great to see Onyx! That’s the most words I’ve heard him string together! You must be very proud of him. Hi Onyx from Sunshine Coast,BC 🇨🇦🇨🇦
Ya...byour right and I just can't believe how fast he's growing up. Young man now. 👍
Good job onyx! u da man! I'm not sure what your Dad and grandad would ever do without you my guy! Don't fear the camera man ur a part of this weather you like it or not 😅
Zach is such a gentleman, did you notice he didn't eat his lunch till he delivered the others!
I love you video Millennial farmer
Your Das jokes never get old! Man you had me laughing!
I did not realize how big. This equipment was till. I was at the Farm machinery show. In Louisville Ky.
“Her ass was wigglin too” 😂
My Alexa started playing Taylor swift because of Zach. It’s taken me five times shouting Alexa stop to get rid of it. Thank you millennial farmer from England
Thanks Zack Alexa has just had a melt down, be good to see Jim back
Thanks for showing inside the bin before any grain was added.
Heard a working word from the boss and it made my day😂
Zach, Your old man is a worker, props to Nate Johnson❤
I love the smell of tillage in the morning
Smokey and the Bandit is one of the best movies. What we are dealing with is a total lack of respect of the law.
That looks like one very well lubricated German Shepherd!
Soil opened up is like keep it between the rows Zac.
Totally got me with the Alexa "play Taylor Swift" started playing then wouldn't listen to me! Good one Zach!
i am a huge fan of the channel i plan to be a farmer when i grow up keep making good content on CZcams
much respect to your dad, Zach. he's a hard working guy but I wouldn't expect anything less.
Knockaz bouncin all ova da joint!!😂😂😂😂😂 12:36
This video starts with the bestest, most energetic (and photogenic) clip of the dogs running into the early morning sunlight (which glares terribly in the camera's lens, but to good effect...) Always enjoy your work (Work fascinates me...I can sit and watch it for HOURS....) both agricultural and cinematic. Thanks for posting......many (of us) are too distant, distracted, old, etc. to otherwise (even remotely) experience lives such as yours an' yourn' .
😂, you got my Alexa singing!
Looking forward to seeing Jim back on the farm!
Give Jim the light work at the farm. Only around the yard and maintenance of the farm machinery. That will make his day.
VERY GOOD news about JIM !!!!! look forward to him getting BACKK on the crew !!!!
Glad Jim is getting close to running tractors again.
If the two sides of the disk are bent and not planning on replacing them just yet....just swap them from side to side and the bends will be on the other sides
Kudos to Dad for fighting damp down corn in the dark.
Its good to hear that Jim is making a swift recovery & I'm sure he is keen to get back behind the wheel of the big horse again for tillage season, but don't let him rush back or push himself too hard when he does come back Zach, I know you're a good guy & will always keep an eye out for Jim.
Thank you for the video. Thank you FBN for sponsoring Zach’s videos.
Glad to see onyx taking some clips
Zach, You have gotta be proud of Onyx.. I mean I reckon by next year he will be running the place. Thanks for the Parts run update Onyx!👍
Goo to hear Jim is doing better
Best regards to Jim!!! hope he is back to 100% soon
Hi Zach thanks for turning Taylor Swift on for me, frightened the living daylights out of me.great vid as usual, looking forward to seeing Jim back again
Damn you Zach… my Alexa started playing “Love Story” 😂
God bless you and your family and all your worker and God bless America well done keep up the good work from all in the UK 🇬🇧 👍👌👊
"Knockers bouncing all over the joint" yet another laugh hysterically moment. Kudos Zach. Oscar performance material
All 3 of my Alexa’s played TS at the same time. Too funny!
As a kid, I always loved being next to a ground break construction sight or a freshly plowed field with the tractor near. The smell of broken dirt and pre-emissions diesel.
When you said "we've dealt with way worse" in terms of combine breakdowns it reminded me when the rear axle came off the combine years ago and your reaction to that. You were way more relaxed than I would have been!
Will have to look back and find that video
Drivin' through backyards knocking down mail boxes 😆
I saw a "combine that ran into a deer" video recently. I do not recommend attempting this with a combine, even though I have never run one in my entire life. The poor thing died quickly, and the farmer did the right thing, and removed the deer corpse from the header. Deer tend to freeze up, thinking they'll be safe. The farmer ends up having to deal with the issues that arise. I don't envy their job, it's a rather difficult one. Hopefully the upcoming Christmas shopping spree will bring gifts the farmers need! 😃❤👍👍
I've heard of this happening but never seen it personally. It sounds awful!
@@MillennialFarmerIt's over on Brian's channel. I don't know if it's linked to any playlist, likely not though. It's a year or two back in the list of uploaded videos. Brian talked about it a bit in the video and included an image at the end of the video. I leave it up to your discretion if you want to watch the video, although due to the sensitive nature of the incident I'm not going to provide a clickable link, and I would not advise sharing it.
Tillage is therapy.
I love it!
I’m sure Jim is going stir crazy.
When you get to regular corn you’ll feel like you’re flying!
Bring back the podcast! It’s always good entertainment when on the mower!
I love the dogs they lived for 5 years
I am glad that Jim is doing good.
Dang it Zach! Ya woke up my Alexa! 😂😅
For those of us with Alexa , Zach thank you for the kind thoughts 😊
It could have been worse
Almost rolled the cultivator folding it up....😅
Now you have me saying “Thunder” in your deep voice for you! 😂😂😜
Great to hear Jim is doing better.
Thanks, Zack. Please take care. 👈
Richard
Your dad just goes with the flow!
That shot of the prior night’s tillage was beautifully funny. Such a short strip in a bigger expanse. At least funny after the fact when you’re going by with repaired equipment.
How is your dad since his knee surgery? Are his knees doing ok? I need new knees also. Bless you when you sneezed
This channel is really great, I hope everyone can see it and get useful information 🇲🇨🙏
I laugh out loud at least twice per episode, we share similar humor.
Zach you gotta a lot going on. Im glad you're almost done and getting into tillage. Thanks for the update on Jim. We all miss him. 🚜🚜
Good news about Jim. He is in my prayers
It's a shame Cole didn't use your guys for his grain bin, he's dealing with a real mess...
And damn you for getting Alexa worked up! 🤣
Loved your comments about Farm rescue. And thank you for your support Of that great organization. I volunteered with them a couple weeks back in Iowa. What a great experience and blessing, it was wonderful opportunity to help out in a family in need. All the way from Florida.
You "may" have missed your calling. You make me laugh nearly every video. Plus I learn quite a bit for my deer food plots. Thanks and please keep them coming.
Great content. I really enjoy watching the coordination and juggling to keep everything running. Thank you for the content. Give Jim our best and let him know we've missed him.
Thanks for a great video. May the good lord be with you all.
Great to hear about the good news with Jim everyone misses him on the channel hope to see him in the next couple of videos! Keep up the awesome work Zach and Becky!
Haha my Alexa was unplugged jokes on you haha!!!!
Never mind I just went upstairs and guess what playing?
I was up in your area last weekend my best friend lives in Ashby. We went through Glenwood into alax. Fun trip
Electric/hydraulic trailer jacks are one on mankind’s greatest inventions
I watch your videos and it makes me sad. I grew up on a cattle ranch. And that lifestyle is part of me. I now live in the city off the family ranch for an engineering job. I love my job, but some days I wish I could go back to that life. It's some much more satisfying.
Still learning about farming; Thanks for giving me a ride today!
Yup… thanks a bunch for getting my Echo to play Taylor Swift 🤨
🤣🤣🤣
Zach and Becky that boy going to want his own truck tractor and combine sooner then later and that new bin is so nice take care you two can't wait for next video
Thanks Zack for turning my music on with Alexa She did as you said. 😂. I’m not a Taylor Swift fan. 😊 but I do love all the content. I grew up as a farmer’s daughter. Even though everything has changed , but a disk is still a disk. The tractors are still tractors. It’s still all the same. That would be a good, 65 years ago. I did love being a Farmer’s daughter. And I wish I could go back.❤
Glad to see your feeding the gulls.
140,000 bushels, 8,000,000 pounds. And that's just one bin. Crazy.
Yep. 11pm. Family asleep. I’m watching CZcams in the living room. Now every Alexa is playing Taylor swift. I can hear my wife yelling at The one in the bedroom. Thanks lol
For the farming sim kids, 140,000 bushels is just under 5,000,000 liters.
Hi Mr or Mrs. Johnson I could sure use a coffee cup for Christmas
when you said Alexa play Tayler swift my Alexa started playing Tayler swift😂😂😂😂
Hey Zach! Im 15 years old and live in Wisconsin and have thought about pursuing starting a farm as an occupation. As I have read in your channel description, you are the 5th generation on your farm, however I was wondering if you had any tips to starting or if you find it fun. If you can think of anything your advice would be greatly appreciated! Love the videos and keep up the great work! Thanks!
😂😂😂😂 Alexa. My device started playing.... 😂
