    This young man is inspiring and motivational. I have watched him work and grow over the last several years. There is NO ONE on YT that works harder and is more dedicated to their dreams. Andrew from a 72 year old still working I give you my highest compliments and commendation for your work ethic, how you love and care for the sweet puppies Blue and Cody and how kind you are to others around you. My grandpa had it built in the late 50s. 7 ft long (2.1m), 1/4” (.6cm) angle iron frame, with a small-Chevy rear axle welded onto it; wood sides. It had been rotting in the woods for a long time. I saw you do much larger jobs on your trailers and I thought “If he can do these things I can fix-up that old trailer.” I pulled it out of the trees and bought new wood, wheels, and wires. I flapped-disked 7 layers of paint off it, primed and painted it, etc. She’s a beaut’, now.

      " I don't know how they get these positions. " Answer corruption and people voting the same morons in office. It's been how many decades since Reagonomics started basically rotting America from the inside out? How many decades does the US have to play this cat and mouse game where one gov repairs things and the other acts like a pathetic child who breaks everyone's toys because they don't get their way and by hell and thunder, if they can't have things, they'll steal, destroy and do anything possible to undermine everyone's work and time.
      US citizens need to add up to reality and start voting people who know what they're doing and that won't bend over to the first bribe that comes their way. Don't forget, it was corruption that brought the Titanic down, the iceberg was just a symptom of a larger problem that night.

I do mostly heavy equipment and industrial these days. I’m 36 but most guys our age just go buy a pos Wilson at the auto parts store and then come find me when it doesn’t work. @@AndrewCamarata Crazy, I bet that was a “Friday job”. Even the Delco Remans aren’t anywhere near as good as an original Delco. They’re done in Mexico. I’ve seen a lot of crazy stuff over the years. I don’t like come backs so I do a lot more then even a CAT, JD or Delco Reman job. If the bushing in the nose is so worn it eats into the armature I have a special tool to turn the armature shaft down on my lathe and use an oversized bushing vs having to replace a $100 armature. Lots of little tricks. He’s right too with not having that correct solenoid that thing likely stayed engaged and that’s what destroyed the teeth on the drive. Thankfully it’s softer metal then your ring gear and that was ok.

    Watching Sam learn how to stick weld was great. It's a weird thing to learn. "Push but not too fast, touch it but also don't, drag it along but also hover, you will figure it out."

    • @tomparker9966
      @tomparker9966 Před 5 měsíci +1

      That looked like 7018 rods from the way they were restarting after initial weld. Those things are difficult to restart. I usually tap once hard against the workpiece then drag the rod to restart then just start drawing C 's for a nice uniform looking weld. Stick welding is becoming a lost art with the cost of wire feed welders coming down.

    For winter time period you have to be more organized with diesel equipment since cold starts take longer and also not safe for engines. What i recommend you to do is to find 12v block heaters and equipp most of tractors or trucks you use during a winter.. I have cranes and always warm up blocks prior starting. You can do same with hydraulic tanks for better performance.

    To bad thing's didn't work out for you and Sam, together you guy's kicked butt, and not a lot of woman like doing the kind of work and play you two enjoy. Maybe you could still work thing's out, yeah she is a bit younger than you, but it's not everyday you meet someone who makes sense of your world. I am a woman going on 53, and have worked on stuff since i was a kid with my dad and grandpa. My brother came a few year's later, si i ended up being the free help lol, but i ended up doing what i loved for a living. My husband passed away early in our marriage, and i just stayed single because i never met another guy who got it. Good luck out there, and don't get hurt, I'd miss these epic 3 hour video's. Looks like you`re gonna crush some ice with those rocks to keep the dust down. Happy Birthday Blue, and Cody is a good dog too. Seeing all of that cold & snowy makes me glad I enjoyed a 82F day today in North Florida. Excavator is starving fuel - dirt or ice in filters. Most who complain about the property improvements you do will never have the $$$$$$$$ to buy the land PLUS the equipment you are using. Disappointed to see Weber use a rock for a hammer. Now I see how easily rock slides could happen. It's both fascinating and a little scary. We all wish we had the big boy toys you have and the playground for them. LOL I wondered if the crusher could be adjusted to larger or smaller sized gravel. The sound of the crusher running reminds me of home. Growing up, we lived pretty close to a quarry and you could hear the crusher working thought I didn't know what made the sound at the time.
