    A Jaw Bucket is handy on the Rototilt as you don't have a thumb. Tilt rotators make the machine something new. I wouldn't have a machine without a tilt rotator. Yes I run kx080 with a Rototilt.

    Wow amazing excavator Jack, I think I’ll have to pay a visit to a couple of CZcamsrs that have a KX40 so I can get a chance and try one 😉😂. Have a great one Jack 🙋🏼‍♂️🙂👍🏻

    Hi Jack ! 🙂 Great video. You can feel the power of that machine coming through the screen here on the CZcams. That is one heavy piece of machinery ! wow. Good question -- ⚠ do the tracks on this model expand and contract ? I was watching another video yesterday from Kubota Japan and they were showing a much smaller model where the tracks do this, I'm not sure why they do that, because the tracks - even if very close together would not get you into a tight area as the body width of the machine stays the same, but maybe it is for different types of terrain so the machine can stabilize itself ( ? ) Anyway, fun machine ! Thanks for the video !

      Thanks for watching! Yes, our 1-2T excavators all do this! Its so they can fit through gates. Our smallest excavator - K008 - can even fit through doorways!

    Very cool but… how much does it weight? And what’s the percentage of digging and lifting capacity versus standard machine with 24” digging bucket?

    • @xxxmikeyjock
      @xxxmikeyjock Před rokem +1

      if all you do is load trucks off a pile then you dont need a tilt rotator. if you dig in tight spaces doing fine grading this will outrun a machine without a tilt rotator.

      Depends on which one you go with and attachments! Best to check with your local dealer.

      Start at about 40K for most brands of tilt rotators. If you are billing by the hour a tilt rotator isn't for you. If you bid your jobs they pay themselves off in a hurry.

    I’d love a review of the very popular KX40. I’m in the market but can’t find any great detailed reviews/infomercials on them. I’d also be interested to know if you can even get them in these crazy times! Nice video, though. Enjoying the channel.

      Hi James, should have a video up next week on the KX040! Most construction is generally pre-sold when it hits the ground, as is most things. I would recommend putting your name on one as soon as you can, ETAs are not looking much better on the construction side of things. Thanks for watching and hope you like the 040 video next week!
