In Japan, Christmas trees are already being displayed in hotels and shopping malls.
Decorating them in homes typically happens in December.🎄🎁
Right now,we are in a computer business office, each of us working on programming tasks, and during our break time, we watched your “FIREWALKING FESTIVAL”from our playlist.

I will be holidaying in China with my wife in 7 days time (Nov 24 to Dec 4). I hope to bring back interesting videos to share on CZcams. We will be away for 11 days during which we might not be able to edit or upload videos. So in the next few days, I will try to share more videos.
this is the video i am waiting for: the Christmas decorations at marina bay sands featuring its famous hanging christmas trees! at least, the merry-go-round feature area next to the rain oculus entrance has opened to the public as it was still barricaded and guarded by security right after last Friday's light-up event. the lights were beautifully lilted around the shoppes area as well as the linkway to the Bayfront MRT station and the hotel area.
remember i shared with you my MBS christmas light-up launch experience in the earlier Changi T3 Candy Wonderland video? i also saw the persons wearing the fairytale costumes riding on the sampan along the canal during that event. in fact, on the eve of the light-up launch event, i saw a few christmas tree decorations at the hotel lobby and also the MRT linkway and they looked beautiful but of course, without lights.
I went there on Monday which was Deepavali holiday in lieu. It was raining and the entrance near the rain oculus was packed with people taking shelter from the rain. I was not able to film properly. I went again on Wednesday and this video was filmed. Wish those people wearing fairytale costumes that you saw, were there. The atmosphere would be magical with them.

Much of this video actually made me feel a little sad. Very rich companies selling very expensive products, all cashing in on the Christmas season to make more money, while actually providing little reference to the real spirit of Christmas. I know that's the way the world is now, but I look back to the simple Christmases of my childhood in the 1940s and 1950s and think that, while we have made wonderful progress in many areas, the world has not changed for the better in some respects.
That is true. But we also live in a world that is not free. The companies need to pay their workers too. So they try use festive seasons to get the profits needed to provide their workers the financial benefits
I share your feelings Jim. Christmas has been so commercialised that the spirit is lost along the way. All races in Singapore are celebration Christmas without knowing the meaning. This can't be helped. We can't change the world. But we can change ourselves, our own thinking.
