A year and a half later, and all I have to say is wow. They really did make a comeback and won once again. I used to be a “they’re so dominant I just want to see them lose once” kind of person, but after seeing everything that happened during the Warriors v. Raptors finals, I couldn’t help but feel bad. Coming into this season, I considered them as sort of an underdog team, and started cheering for them, and wow. This team’s resilience is honestly astounding. I’m actually glad that the warriors won for once lol

I remember KDs comeback just to suffer a torn Achilles. Amazingly awful luck, and Klay Thompson’s injury. Fate didn’t want them to win that year.
This makes me even more impressed by lebron's durability. It's no question that the sheer number of high intensity games these guys played in a 4 year stretch really took a toll on their bodies.

Watching Klay come back onto the court from the locker room to shoot his free throws so that he would be eligible to come back in that playoff game against the Raptors broke my heart. No one wants to play the game more than he does, but you could see how badly he was hurting inside and out.

The curse still holds: the game Klay came back Draymond went out for 2 months with a back injury. When the big three finally played a game together in more than 1000 days, Steph went out with a foot sprain the second game they played together

This was really tough for them. This moved them from title contenders to a 4-5 playoff seed team
That’s with a healthy Klay, without Klay I don’t even think they can make the playoffs. I could be wrong but the idea of having a healthy Klay and Curry on the court is enough to shake most teams and with one or the other the Warriors will struggle again and again until their young core develops over time or they get some key veterans like when they won 73 games. Without Klay there is no championship and that goes without saying no playoffs either, it’s just that simple.
@@dennisfulmer56 I think they’ll be in the playoffs. They have Wiggins, who is better than he has ever been. They just got oubre on the team, and he’s a solid player. They still got two all stars in Draymond and Steph. They lack bench depth, and that will be a problem if more injuries occur. They’ll probably be a 6-8 seed, but if steph can play at an elite level, they have a pretty good shot of getting into the playoffs
@@lik7953 they looked pretty good last season despite that 15 win Mark they stopped at, I think they’ve got a chance to make the playoffs as the 8th seed but no higher, after that the west is just too stacked with depth and everything else and with how young the Warriors are besides the key players they still have that aren’t injured they aren’t gonna get far in the playoffs. If they still had Klay I could see them making a championship run but without him they aren’t winning it all.

In my perspective there’s absolutely nothing else for the Warriors to prove that their one of the BEST team to ever assemble.
The injury “curse” has been going on for years in Golden State. The curse was worse before they had the dynasty. Look up Curry playing 48 minutes w/ 6 fouls just to see how bad it was back then

Steph Curry and Monta Ellis were forced to play 48 minutes.
At some point, a player fouled out but when other players got injured, the Ref allowed him back in... And the Warriors took the dub somehow

No shame about it, I started following the NBA in 2010 and I'm a Clippers fan because of Blake Griffin's highlights. Some people became fans of Miami when Lebron went there, you don't choose when you start following the game. It's not bandwagonning as long as you keep supporting the same team, even when they start getting bad.
Man this is just sad because I love the Warriors and I just hope Klay gets a speedy recovery and Steph can carry us to the Playoffs
