It’s so easy to forget watching him on TNT commentating. Barkley was truly one of the greats. Unfortunately no one could beat those Bulls. They were on a level of great I still can’t explain. The best tried. The best went home. I still have no words for how good that squad was.

in 6 titles, they were never pushed to a single game 7. probably could have won a couple more if not disbanded.
Everyone looks at the offensive skills of MJ and Scottie but what won the championships was defense. The whole Bulls team was very underrated defensively. I think Horace Grant was actually a better defender than Scottie or Michael. And he was a faster sprinter than either.

@Arizona Fire Ent search: migraine aura visual. try to play with something like that.
@Arizona Fire Ent I think someone named MJ might disagree. He knows a thing or two about basketball.
@Ulysses432 you forget about hakeem or what?
@Ulysses432 Scottie didn't fail in the clutch because he lost his composure. He just wasn't that kind of player. The dude was a defensive wing that had a slash and post package and a decent jumpshot. Saying that Scottie Pippen collapses under pressure is like saying Demar Derozan collapsed under pressure because he couldn't singlehandedly carry his team past a superstar. Tbh, that 90s bulls team was a lot like the 2019 raptors team in the playoffs. The team without Kawhi was a good team that could go to the playoffs and perform decent. But they needed that super star. Scottie Pippen was never in contention for MVP and when your best player isn't MVP level, it's hard to beat players who are MVP level.
@Arizona Fire Ent he played game 7 but had a bad game. Ask NY in 1992 in game 7 or 1993 in game 6, Cleveland in game 6 1992 when Jordan played bad etc etc

Scottie Pippen is probably one of the most underrated basketball player that ever played.
...Due to Jordan🤔
No he isn't. All star game mvp, defensive mvp, voted top 50 player of all time.
Underrated by whom?
@@m0skit0 by the world. By skip Bayless. Pip should be top 20 player. He dominated on defense, and he ran the offense. 3 point shooter, great passer, good offensive rebounder, top 3 transition defenders. Top transition offensive player. Glass shot, post offensive skills, hook shot. Mid range, slasher and dunker
Nah. Pippen was a great player and he deserved all the awards he got and probably a couple more, but he wasn't underrated.
If he had won a title after the Bulls were broken up in Houston or Portland and people were talking shit then yeah, I'd say underrated. But he won six with MJ, and played good but not great for the majority of his career afterwards. He put up a number of single digit games actually.
He is not top 20. There are too many other all timers that put up better stats in various areas that deserve a spot ahead of him.
Scottie was invaluable to the Bulls, absolutely. You can find countless testimonials out there from former teammates about how he'd work to get them shots and touches and keep them involved. He was also an elite defender, no one even questions that. He's just not top 20. I hate saying it because I was a big fan of the guy and still am, but it's true.
I love Scotty, my son took me to a game in Portland. I believed Scotty was phenomenal. By the way, I am 74. That was such a delight. I saw him as awesome and he appeared to me as so skilled, that he made his team, including Michael play their best. Much respect for Scotty.

No Duncan, No Spurs. No Steph, No Warriors. But yeah I agree. Scottie is one the greatest of all time.
