Then I found yours, and was very happy to see that they were full of information, delivered in a natural, helpful way, including the right tools needed for each step, tips on things to do to extend the life of your brake job, keep the brakes from squeaking, etc. For me, this group of videos was exactly what I needed to help me take on this project with confidence. I'm actually looking forward to it now! Thank you !!

Better to change the fluid than to replace the lines. Fluid sucks up the water causing the rust.
Then again if you replace a brake line you need the replace the fluid anyway.
Worst case scenario: You do brakes, lines, fluid and then store the car. 5-10yrs later when you want to drive it again you will most likely need to replace lines/fluid/seals again.

Thanks for the tips Scotty and love your videos!! I remember when you were on TV in Houston waaaay back when, I think on Channel 11. It was the only reason I watched the news as a teenager, was to wait for your segment. Back then, we had no cell phones, no internet and no computers, so we had to figure out on our own, or from older guys, how to work on our hand-me-down Jalopy's. I'm doing a brake job on my '17 F250 today and was trying to find out why the new Ford Rotors have a grey coating on them. That search led me to this video. Long Live Scotty!!!
