According to the NHS it don't take 6 months to heal a broken nose:
"It should start getting better within 3 days and be fully healed within 3 weeks."
They stalling out Crawford to keep the belt. And why should Spence jump to the front of the line? Just look at the pattern. All these injuries have one thing in common: they stall out Crawford.
Spence eye injury: drags out the rematch clause
Thurman injury: Allows Tszyu to fight Fundora for the WBC and drop WBO to avoid Crawford and still be champion. Thurman fight didn't have the WBO belt on the line. If he would have dropped the WBO belt after fighting Thurman (win or lose) to avoid Crawford, he would no longer be a champion.
Fundora injury: Stall Crawford out till November then employ more stalling tactics to drag it out longer.
Proof that he can't heal for six months needs to come from independent medical sources provided by lawyers from the Crawford team. If they can't prove he needs 6 months they gotta drop the belt.

Paulie and Shawn misunderstood what he was saying. He said Fundora will be put until November because of the severity of the injury to the nose. HOWEVER, Tszyu's injury is on the top of the head, so he will be ready sooner to fight. Under that scenario he believes Tszyu probably will want to take a fight in the interim. His comments weren't about Fundora taking an interim fight or avoiding the fight. Hopefully, Proboxing tv sees this post and makes the correction the next time they have their show.

That still makes no sense. Why are they not petitioning the WBC to enforce their mandatory status if they don’t want step aside money? Something is not right here. Because from what I heard, Sampson is really close with Mauricio Suleiman. So I think he doesn’t want to push the issue much. Regardless, Canelo has to face Benavides soon.
Because Benavidez made his career all about padding his 0 for a 1 fight payday so obviously they're hoping to hold out for the pot to get bigger. Also, Benavidez SR has said they felt the longer it takes for it to get made, the more it benefits Benavidez. David has never been the ambitious fighter that people hyped him to be. What Benavides should of one was wait 1 month for the deadline and see if they make that fight happen but if they don’t and they don’t strip canelo then he should of moved up. I’m with Samson on this one. Not for one second did Tim nor his team think about stopping that fight. ALL parties involved wanted that fight to continue. We blame the refs and doctors for getting too involved so can’t complain when the refs/doctors don’t intervene for the fighter you wanted to win. It was a great fight between two champion warriors. Congratulations to Team Fundora.
