There are more sturdy materials for creating masks other than cardboard, but this is what I had access to while in the early phases. This was my first mask I've ever made so I'm still in the learning process myself
how do I make an animatronic? I'm a kid thats into this type of stuff and I want to know how to make things like this with no experience and just from yt vids.
When making stuff for ENDO I think you will need a lot of cardboard or other stuff that is strong and for the suit... Use stuff that you have laying around and maybe put some on the endo
Cardboard was definitely not a good idea for a mask if you want it to last. I would reccomend adjusting those flows aswell.. Colorado Animatronic kits are bad enough as it is, you wouldn't want to make it worse by the plastic breaking from badly adjusted movements.

As far as the movements go I've modified and braced some parts of the CA head since some of these clips to where it won't break often and last a bit longer. In the future I plan on making my own head frames so they can handle more stress and such
I am building one out of scrap too, because I don't have an auto polarity switch, I've got an idea from one of my legos, I don't have half of the materials, but I have something that is almost all I need, DETERMINATION.

Sorry for the late response, but thanks! I use a standard 6-gallon air compressor, but frankly I wouldn't recommend it just because it's loud and goes 30 seconds before having to fill back up. I recommend getting one of those 27 gal Kobalt compressors if you're really serious about it, but a 6-gal tank like mine can do the job

The costume doesn’t follow apart easily, but here’s the things that you shouldn’t do while wearing a spring suit 🟡 🟨 🟨. This is Bob in a spring lock suit OK so we’re gonna talk about vibration so every time you touch any of the spring locks not eyes and open your eyes socket a lot it’s like this. 🟡 🟥 🟥 So that being said no vibration, no touching and all of all no liquids on the thing even heavy, breathing heavy breathing will cause the spring locked. What will destroy every part of your body and for all if you sweat please if you’re on. anything or on a stage just please if you’re dying the security will try to take it off as fast as they can find old suits please don’t get in them.
