- With Mother’s Day just around the corner, I’m sharing Spring Bouquet soap. I think this design is very feminine and the fragrance smells like spring! I’m doing a hanger swirl technique using 7 spot colors. Thank you for joining me and I hope you enjoy the video!
Soap Ingredients: coconut oil, palm oil, olive oil, distilled water, canola oil, sodium hydroxide, coconut milk, floral fragrances, castor oil, sweet almond oil, Shea butter, sea salt, titanium dioxide, cosmetic minerals, mica and glitter

Absolutely beautiful soap, I have tried to replicate your soaps but mine never turn out as beautiful as yours.
Hi Brenda ~ Thank you for watching my video and your wonderful comment. I appreciate it very much. Soap making is always a challenge. I've found the hanger swirl technique to be the most fun, but not all of my attempts come out as planned. I keep on going for the eventual surprise! :) ione
what a beautiful looking bar you've created! Your's are the prettiest soaps Ive seen on youtube. I hope to make something like this but I only use natural colours like clays etc and wonder if the colours would show up like yours.
Hi Diana ~ Thank you for watching my video and your lovely compliments. I appreciate it very much. I do use plant based colorants and natural clay in some soaps. Natural clay doesn't really have much color. Neither plant based or clay options give soap a long lasting vibrant color. If you want further narrative, please email me. Happy soaping! :) ione
Thanks for replying Ione. I watched your videos again today and can't get over how beautiful your swirls are :) I get a bit nervous and try not to over swirl and get muddy colours but you do it so effortlessly and they all turn out amazing!
So I guess Ill use mica pigments for the darker shades. I am really eager to try spirulina, indigo, annatto and madder root in my soaps. Have you had any experience with these colourants? Thanks for your time:)
@@dianaaranha5512 Hi Diana ~ Thank you! Although, not all of my soaps come out as planned, lol! To answer your question, I have personal experience with spirulina and love the beautiful natural green color. It is wise to get a tried and true brand though, since all are not equal. I have Hawaiian Blue, which was on the spendy side, but has lasted many years. Also, I've tried several plant based powders for color, but not infusions.
I've watched other soapers make oil infusions from indigo, annatto and madder root. Also, something I want to try is Himalayan rhubarb. It makes a gorgeous pink color. I love watching Holly from Kapia Mera soap. She does many videos on this topic. I assume these beautiful colors fade in time. That's been my experience with powders, not infusions though. Spirulina does hold for quite a while. The indigo bleeds into lather, so that is something to consider too. If you haven't already, check out Holly's YT channel. 💖💖💖 You are the best hanger swirler! Just glorious! Your soap batter has a certain quality that’s almost translucent that I love so much… wondering if it’s the canola? I may have to give that oil a try sometime. Blessings and keep the videos coming as I just love them!

Hi Master Ione. These Spring bouquet sops are so pretty ! And the colors really pop too even though you have used milk in oil recipe. May I ask you if using distilled water only had given same colors results ? I am planning to try milk in oil c.p. recipe soon. Thank you and have a beautiful day xxxooo

To answer your question, the colors should be the same when using milk with the distilled water. I use about 30% milk and 70% water for the liquid amount required.
