Although the 6.5 grendel is not designed for long shooting, it's impressive to see the results with your BCA 24" barrel. I have a BCA side charge 18" upper that it's quite accurate up to 300 yards that I tried and was surprised by it. BCA products have been maligned by many because of the poor quality control in many. I found that after polishing the chamber in my upper, I have not experienced any feeding problems. Thanks for sharing!
@@jazzflounder67 I haven’t had any issues using Duramags, I also use an adjustable gas block and rifle length buffer system. I run the bolt wet to prevent drag and tune the gas to lock the bolt open on last round in mag.
I would just piece one together, I used an AR Stoner matched and pinned upper and handguard. Works pretty good for me. Might try and get a barrel with matched bolt and get an adjustable gas block.
@@distantgi I know bca has many different uppers and barrels and some people say it's hit and miss. Which one exactly did you purchase? Just trying to buy once cry once
@@guccithepug4468 it is the 24” 8 twist straight fluted. I have almost 4000 rounds on that barrel and 30 thousandths of the throat erosion. I bought a different 24” bull barrel I will be trying out if you would like to see the results before making a decision. Although I have an 18” BCA Grendel that shoots just as good as the 24”.
