nowhere this is a true abandoned find.... a very clean and neat engine bay and undercarriage... salt water spray and /or pain remover and leave exposed to tropical weather will make a good corrosion impression.
Anyone else notice that these guys always find “perfectly ruined” projects to work on? That and nothing on the engine was repaired/re-surfaced?? Something isn’t adding up. That’s a LOT of work to be done on something abandoned since ‘66. I think there’s a lot there we’re not seeing, as well. That said, it’s still fascinating to watch them restore things.

Something else I've learned is that, in this part of the world (Indo-Chinese countries) there's a LOT of people playing games with CZcams videos that spans a lot of different topics, and industries. They all "create" problems...so, they can look like hero's providing a solution. Apparently, Biden, and the Democrats have taught them well. But, I digress.... 👍

If this car was actually abandoned outside for decades there would be pitting, corrosion, animal nests and a lot of damage to the interior of the vehicle.

Было время ссср и коплектующие поставлялись в разные страны. Двигатель умз 114, коробка производилась по лицензии УАЗа мосты тоже, они тут немного усиленные. А сейчас спустя столько лет для себя ничего хорошего сделать не можем...
Boy, didn't rectify the crankshaft, connecting rods, block, head, didn't change any bearings, or rings, It was easier just to wash the engine on the outside and change the oil 😁 it saved time.
Looks like shit probably looks worst in person but makes u happy right on now challenge ur self by doing prep work right and actually doing good job not just blow and go work .. great video guys

To take the engine apart and not reface the valves and seats is kinda silly. Looks like they just cleaned the parts and put them back.
I was thinking the exact same thing…. I think there’s more to this story, than what we’re seeing. Still amazing to watch them work, though…
