The 101st had American flags sown to their sleeves when they dropped into Normandy. Paratroops were not overweight, middle-aged men, and I suppose we are to believe they picked up English accents while they were training in Engalnd.

Every one is an armchair critic eh , of course there is military mistakes in this short film . Even Spielberg with his massive budget made critical military mistakes so these guys on a shoestring budget did really well. They enjoyed making it and I applaud their efforts, if you want strict military discipline then join the army. This is for our entertainment and should be treated so .

Well said that man !!! There's always some armchair, KEYBOARD WARRIORS, that just have to nit pick at the efforts that these people take time out of their busy day to not only make this for our entertainment, but to then post it for our viewing !! People like the Keyboard WARRIORS are what's wrong with our Hobbies nowadays, they pick, pick ...oh ...eerrr...PICK ! a stone on the ground was slightly on the wrong side of that ant running down the road .. there will be some wholly that just can't help themselves and the attention is on somebody else and not them, so they desroy somebody's efforts which in turn can dent someone's enthusiasm and joy etc etc , so they don't bother which then slowly drops many of our Hobbies community and people's enthusiasm to watch or take part !!! Its funny how many of these plonkers rip peoples projects but arent brave enough to share their own !! bless them !!

Learn lessons for sure but those critiques are more about boosting their ego than be constructive. Yes, I’m sure you will review this and know what could be done a little better next time. I saw it for free and am very grateful.
I obviously don’t know your budget but I presume it wasn’t large: well, you did a very good job. Good acting; excellent photography and a very interesting storyline. I love that you didn’t go straight into the guns firing - a lesson others should surely take.

Grease guns and Thompsons didn't have green barrels and magazines. M1 stocks were a darker color. Looks like they've been restored. Too light in color.

I might be wrong but I think there were several different shades of M1s because of the type wood used. Several companies were making them using different types wood.

The British used bolt action rifles, as did all other armies aside from the US as standard issue. The M1 Garand was semi-automatic.

I think civilians just got tired of us killing people in their own country. I don't think Americans are speaking Korean, Vietnamese or Afghani so I don't think we lost. I think we made a strategic retreat. 民間人は私たちが自国の人々を殺すのにうんざりしていると思います。アメリカ人が韓国語、ベトナム語、アフガニ語を話しているとは思わないので、負けたとは思いません。戦略的な撤退をしたと思います。
