I am extremely fair, so the gray contour is intimidating. This was helpful, thank you.
Even at my lightest in the winter which is still a light-medium at most I don’t like gray contour on me at all! It’s just not flattering and I feel like it’s really hard for most people to get it to look really good and natural and like KJH says I’d rather be too warm than too cool!
The Elf liquid contour works great for contour on fair people. It has a grey tone but then it also has a more warm tone next up but it blends out sheer and is buildable so natural, would work for fair skin tones and can be built up to add as much as are wanting while not looking harsh.
This advice, about how it doesn't matter if it's by-the-book. If you like it: "Do it. Wear it. It's makeup...it washes off." The best!
