Fable 2 will always be one of my all time favourite games

Me too. I tried in maybe 2012? Got to the Crucible and fell off. Now im nearly 40 and trying again on XBOX 1. All the perks are expired. Yay.

Deadchannel yeah, there was an actual lion head dev in the chat. When the streamer (RT) mentioned the theory, the dev (Lionbum) confirmed that they just reused the asset out of sheer laziness
Dene Carter also told me it was the same model used and there was no story behind it. It's in a video where I asked him a bunch of questions.
😥 that would be a great start for something im Fable 4 some kind of link between them all. I want Theresa to go Bad or something attached to the first game. We need more betrayals!! Something twisty and top turvy
Can we just talk about how beautiful fable 2's cutscenes are for a game made in being made in the late 2000s and released in 2010
They are! Especially the scene when the Spire makes the wish.

Fable II needs to be the base for the new Fable 4 game if they really are making it.

fable 4 is being created, but not by lionhead since lionhead went out of business

Fable 2 is my all time favorite game, right alongside Halo 3. Many, many memories in both. Once you said Fable 4, I instantly looked into it and I couldn't be happier knowing that Fable 4 is going to be developed. Loved all Fable games, but 2 holds a special place for me.
Yeah couldn't agree more, Fable 4 is the only game I'm keen for on the next Gen console!

I can't believe they just rendomly decided to change the location of the hero's guild. I'm pretty sure "bowerstone lake" wasn't even in Fable 1.
I was shocked to see the Heroes Guild was gone when I first played Fable II. But I guess a lot changes after 500 years.
I think it was intended but was cut from the game.
I believe there are "Project Ego" screenshots of what Bowerlake was supposed to be.
Strawberry they never changed the location. I guess the heroes guild was destroyed and then flooded, which is why it is now Bower lake
The bridge in Bowerstone Old Town that leads to Rookridge, is the entrance to Bowerstone in Fable 1.
Similarly the bridge outside Bowerstone North and that road to the graveyard etc, in Fable1, is the entrance to Bowerstone Market in Fable 2.
Kind Citizen upon further reflection, im not so sure about my second statement.
But the first one is definitely true
The dying and playing as your characters child sounds like a potentially awesome idea that could be really cool to have in a game. Kinda feels like it would be best suited to some kind of strategy or classical RPG (in the style of Divinity: Original Sin 2, Pillars of Eternity etc.) though instead of a regular RPG like Fable, but would be a really cool core mechanic for a game of that genre whether it would be a Fable game of not.
This will always be my favourite game of all time!

At the beginning of the game when your running around doing work for the towns folks, when you get to the wearhouse at the back end of town, go to the left and you'll find some stairs that you go down later in the game. Look behind the pile of rubbish blocking the stairs and you'll see a dead body that is dressed like Theresa. Does this mean she was dead from the very beginning of the game?
I've actually not found that! And as far as I'm aware, Theresa isn't dead. Her will power allows her to live longer. Deffo something I'm going to look for next time I load up the game!

Fable 2 is my favorite game of ALL TIME in MY opinion. I’ve never put so many hours in a game before just being a teen coming straight from school and just getting lost for hours and hours

Same my dad knew how excited I was for it and he drove me to WalMart at midnight to go get it. I remember being surprised there was no line. Loved Fable TLC and 2.

Just played this game for the first time again since I was 8. I feel like it actually changed my childhood
Im still playing this game till this day, I beat it over 50 plus times, I played fable tlc and anniversary, never touched into fable 3 because it was the downfall to the franchise

@@Skyrionn I got 55 out of 66, I need some help, too bad not many people on the servers nowadays, the rest is multiplayer achievements and nobody wants to play with my Xbox because they're PlayStation people lol
I agree that Fable 3 isn't the best, but if you haven't touched it, then I definitely recommend giving it a try.
Though I was disappointed about it as a "fable game" I still had fun playing it.
I’m playing through fable 2 now for the first time in prolly 5 years, I recently played fable 3 and was disappointed so I had to go back to the 2nd, forgot how much I loved the 2nd game
Fable 3 isn't that bad.

I always thought of the shadow court as the court as in the queen, knight and Jack of blades. Hence the one lady and two guys

Fable 2 is my favorite 360 game, and they were so close with 3 just the menus/inventory was to much of a change.
I found the menu system in Fable III pretty good. I think I'm the only one :P

I hated the menus and inventory in fable 3. I also hated having to go into the sanctuary just to change equipment and outfits.
The menu was basically half the playtime. The other half was loading screens. It would have made solid Fable II DLC.

"Maybe there's more to teresa than we know".... she's literally the most mysterious character in all of fable. We know pretty much nothing about her other than her childhood in fable 1.
She also basically manipulated the hero in fable 2 to gain access to the spire thus creating another apocalypse basically but we don't talk about that game it's the bad kinect fable game it happened in basically a demonic being more powerful than the crawler was in the spire when it activated and that's why the old kingdom died
Fun fact: lionbum put the shadow court Theresa theory to rest during RTgames stream of fable 2, it was just a simple reskin due to "sheer laziness", and is now forever enshrined on the fable fan wiki.
My favourite voice actor is Giles who is Daddy Pig from Peppa Pig 😂

A fact that no one probably mentions: bowerlake is actually the guild woods from fable 1 but 500 years later

Number 5 was actually already answered in one of RT Games streams, when one of the developers answered a couple of questions and helped by sharing some secrets in the game.
Apparently it was just asset reuse because, and I quote, "We were lazy."

I would kill to play Fable 2 again. Sadly I no longer have a PS2 or an X-Box, and they never released a PC port. And by the looks of things they never will. 😔
Fable 3 was my favorite, but I honestly loved them all.
3 was my favorite bc of the royalty aspect.
I love fable 2 a lot i have beating the game at least 12 times over the course of me owning the game I should get back into the game and beat again I have a couple of achievements I haven't gotten
we've waited 10 long years since the release of Fable 3. It feels damn good to know that we're getting this game soon after the release of the Xbox Series X.

It was confirmed by a former developer during an RTGamecrowd stream that the re-use of therisas player model was due to "pure laziness."
I hope Fable 4 come out soon with a lot of content... I want to play it for a lot of hours lol

They did. I did a sort of interview with Dene Carter, and he confirmed that it wasn't intentional but it may have just been a way of saving resources.

The speculation about the court of shadows and Teresa. During a twitch stream of RT Game, a lion head developer actually told RT that infact they were just being lazy. There is no connection between the court and Teresa. Just the same models.
I'm glad this was cleared up! Love the name Revan too! Dene Carter (Co-creator for the series) actually explained there wasn't a connection before that stream happened in an interview I did with him. You can find the video on my channel if you're interested!

Nothing is confirmed due to Lionhead Studios closing down. There are large rumours that a new Fable game is being developed by another studio though! I'm hopeful.

Fable 1 my first playthrough Maga hat all the stars second playthrough I had no scars I liked it I would prefer if non-lethal takedowns would have left you scars and end up being captured yet Escape or something like that a permanent death with lethal takedowns and you can start all over with the next character I would love that

@@Skyrionn oh well. I'm getting my old 360 from my dad's this weekend (I moved in January) and I will be looking for a copy of this at my local 2nd and Charles or Gamestop. I'm still semi new to Fable and while I love them from watching my sisters play and everything I'm excited to experience this one for myself

Huh, interesting. Fable 1 TLC was so fucking good, that Fable 2 was just okay. The last "boss" was the most disappointed i've ever been. And then 3 was just... pure shit. Here's to Fable 4 🍻

The ravenscar “fact” is a complete lie. Oakfield has been in the game since day 1 lol. They would never change the farm regions name. That’s just silly to make up. Why change the name oakfield when it was in the first fable game? That just makes no sense.
