    I've always been a fan of the PSR series...even the low end ones have great tones. I especially love the ones that have the enhanced "sweet" tones that really respond to touch. This thing sounds great and I'm about to order one.

    I'm enjoying your reviews, they are comprehensive so it's almost as if I were at the music store checking the keyboards myself. This keyboard really has a beautiful sound, but I'd really like it to have a midi output and touch sensitive keys. A backlit LCD would be great too, but I could live without that. Maybe as a shared keyboard, like in a classroom, this would be perfect because you wouldn't really have much time and space to connect to a computer and DAW and produce music. Anyway, I'll be checking on your lessons too! Great content Jeremy! thanks for sharing!

    I have a big question. I have a Casio ST-200, which I purchased used for its portability mostly so I could take it to group vocal class at the local senior center. I also have a Roland FP-30X which I purchased for its acoustic piano emulation. The keys and keyboard action of the Casio is surprisingly good, but the tone and sound are not very good. Here is my question. Is the tone and sound of a Yamaha PSR-E263 or E273 enough better than the Casio to make it worthwhile to pick one up? For the record, my skill level on keyboard is intermediate beginner but I also have the ability to play chords and I can compose songs.

    Hi, this is my first time here. Hoping to get an answer. I have a grandson, I think he has a good ear for music, we don't have musicians in the family though but he can be humming a song in perfect tune for hours and I would live to introduce him to an instrument, to see how it goes. What instrument would you recommend? Would be a Keyboard be a right choice? Which one? Since I know nothing about music, I feel lost. Sorry for bothering and I really hope you could help me. my budget is limited but I believe it is important to approach kids to the arts. Thanks in advance and I'm hoping to hear what you suggest.

    Now that you've explored this offering from Yamaha, the forthcoming comparison with a Casio model in the same price range will be interesting. I think, like me, you have a general preference for Yamaha products, but that certainly doesn't apply to every model and your exploration will be, as always, free from bias. So, the question is - in this price bracket, does Casio's offering give more bangs for your buck? I await with interest.

    Hi Jeremy. I'm a guitarist that would like to learn to play piano. I'm choosing between three Yamahas: PSR-EW300, P45, and P125.
    What would be the best for learning classical, bossanova, and jazz music?
    Years in the future, I think I want to play and own an acoustic piano. With that in mind, I think P125 is the best option for weighted keys (with many sounds). But also considering psr ew300 for the sake of just beginning to play and budget to consider. So I'm torn between these options.

    • @paparulomichigon729
      @paparulomichigon729 Před 4 lety +1

      I'm not Jeremy, but if you want to know a lot of opinions, i have the P45 and the Psr e363. I think the P-series have that you' re looking for, is excelent to play classic and jazz. The lack of octaves in the Psr and heavy keys is an important issue to that styles. However the Psr is best for pop, rock and modern music, because they have a lot of sounds. I' m from Argentina sorry if my english it's bad redact and write, i love how tango sounds in the P-45 too.
