All morse code translations "THE ORANGE IS NOT IN CONTROL" This one is weird because of spelling errors so i just fixed it. the "The" was "6E" and orange was like "ORENGE". "IT IS MERELY A TOOL", "HARNESSED BY HE WHO WATCHES, GILGAMESH" gilgamesh is some old king or something search it up

I personally consider TV commercials to to be the first "brainrot" content, not Annoying Orange.
Commercials are short, only 15-60 seconds long and had to sell you a product. Because of this, they had to be packed with as much instant-gratification content to stick with you. Furthermore, they were delivered in a stream with one commercial happening after another until the show came back.
Annoying Orange is annoying, to be sure. But his videos were still several minutes long, stuck to clear themes, had multiple characters with distinct personalities, and had actual buildup and payoff to the various jokes in each video. When I hear "brainrot content", I think "short form content that's designed to be as instantly gratifying as possible, delivered in a stream". And TV commercials fit that description much more.
