There are actually five buildings in Blue Lock but they were all named building 5 so they'd think they're at the bottom of bottom, there were 5 team z, 5 team y, 5 team x, 5 team w and 5 team v, = 275 players that were remained after the 1st episode when teams were formed, now after the elimination of bottom 3 in all groups only 10 teams remain in total = 110 players + all the top scorers from eliminated teams 15 so there are still 125 players left for the 2nd selection and a lot of unknown characters that we haven't seen yet hope that clears up any confusion.

Fun fact ,: the new character u saw that u mentioned Levi was not actually like it but as of Blue Lock author Muneyuki Kaneshiro had designed Itoshi Rin based on what Attack on Titan's Eren and Mikasa's child would look like.
Finally Rin, Mikasa's child born off from the memories eren made for her...playing top level football going in first
Fun fact: Blue Lock mangaka was Isayama's assistant on AOT for a while and it's said Rin's design was based off if Eren and Mikasa had a child 😂

@@prathmeshlagdive396 AOT was monthly and started in 2008 blue lock manga started in 2018 and he was isayama's assistant for a few years before going solo just like the spyxfamily mangaka
@@prathmeshlagdive396monthly means 12 chapters per year while a weekly will give you 48 chapters per year. It'll only take 3 and a half years to catch up

Igaguri is my secret fav character LOL Amen to his never give up attitude! Also, Raichi is def MVP for not forgiving Kuon F him... But when we think about it team Z was stacked with great players compared to the others who had at best 3 players with clear goal scoring weapons. From Kunigami to Isagi all together they had 5 clear weapons and the other weren't weapon-less they were either playing out of position or just didn't have better scoring attributes. Soo without that Kuon betrayal who knows we could have finished top of the group.
One of the ebst shows to come out recently. I hope u guys do kuroko no basket as ur next sports anime after these 24 episodes are done.
This anime quickly went to the top of my list of the best sports anime ive watched. I watched a lot but the top would be Yowamushi Pedal, Haikyu, Kuroko's Basketball and now Blue Lock but the absolute king was, is and always will be Eyeshield 21. Maybe its because this was the first sports anime that i watched properly but most of others dont even come close. That being said, this one is very unique. Usually its all about teamwork.
Fun fact: Ego VA is the same as Levy from AOT.

5 buildings. 5 teams in each building. Each building was told they're the 5th and lowest ranked building (to spur on their fighting spirit), and each team in those buildings were told they're teams V, W, X, Y, Z. Hence, there's no building 1, 2, 3, and 4 cause each building was called #5
