  • I removed the wheel center caps on my 2024 Ram Power Wagon (aka Red Beast) while getting my tires rotated. I had previously “chewed up” one of the plastic center caps on a rock during my last trip to Hurricane Creek. I removed the center caps and painted the center portion of my hubs with Rustoleum Flat Black paint. Turned out well and definitely won’t stick out far enough to get caught on rocks, etc.

I just got the same tires and wheels for my 2020. I may have already told you that. :) What pressure are you running? Mine feel good at about 50 front and back. Doing a cross country trip in about 3 weeks so I might go higher on the highway with all my camping gear loaded down.

I run 48 front and 43 back. However I think 50 would also work well. I usually don’t have the camping gear loaded (at least for now). I would think 50 in the rear should be plenty. One way to check tire loading is to use a level and measure the loaded tire height. When I had the front and rear at the same tire pressures, the rear tire was taller. When they are the same height, they are somewhat equally loaded. In my case around 5 psi less in the rear.

And yes, those center caps are super cheap plastic. Weird they would go so budget on those.
