The fussy cutting is a great and looks very effective, love this idea in journals. There are so many beautiful images in Daphne's Diary, one never knows what to cut out, but it sure is loads of fun deciding. Love this journal, amazing, I'm hooked on your crafting.

Thanks Evelyn. You were right, my sewing machine was a gonner! It was such a basic cheap machine that it would have cost more to repair it than buy the same one brand new. Fortunately I found a fabulous 20 year old German built machine on marketplace for £40 and I love it! Even has a threading gadget which will be worth it’s weight in gold to me as my eyes are so terrible. Glad to be back in action 💕 xo
I'm glad to see how you use Daphne's diary. I started buying them just this year. I'm in Michigan, USA, and it takes an extra two months to get what you've already used! But it's worth it....one if the best magazines I've ever seen! TFS 🤗

Had decided I already have so much stuff, but then I had this idea, a friend of mine loves autumn and I will make a box for her with ephemera from the magazine and I will also use some of it for myself..... Love watching this series. I have done many glue books in the past using images from a wide range of magazines, advertising, etc. I find it so relaxing. Watching you create your lovely pages from one magazine style has sparked my enthusiasm to get out my scissors and glue again - thankyou Nina!

Nice journal, Nina. I came across the gorgeous image of the girl in the flower and drew a similar one with a drawing resembling Petra. It came out nicely, and Petra knew immediately that it was her sitting in the flower. I’ve made her 2 junk journals, and she’s having a blast gluing cutouts I’ve done for her with her “own” washable glue stick. She’s having a blast and gramma is having fun finding and cutting out special illustrative images just for her. Have a grand week, my dear.
This is just so pretty, nice, wonderful. You’re almost making me want to do one of my own! If only I had the time. I’m in Australia and I’ve just bought Daphnes diary number 5 That’s summer so as we go into summer here, it might be perfect timing. Probably have to wait until after Christmas 🎅!

I also use a ruler and I always put 2 - 3 pages of white paper behind de pages what I want to cut out. In this way other pages are protected from being cut out.

Halloween has never been a big thing for me, I did make my grandson a card but haven't done anything else Halloween themed. Finally got Mom's long term care insurance to cover some of the memory Care bills but they only agreed through December. I excitedly waited all week for this.. Thanks.. by the way I'm working on my own Art magazine with my daughter and will allow people to use the images and then sell them as long as they are used in a journal or card and such and not just the images themselves. It won't be coming out until 2023.

If you have a Joanne’s fabric store, or a Barnes and Nobel bookstore, they carry them. They don’t have many copies I’ve noticed. Maybe the bookstore would order extras if they saw the demand.

They don’t seem to stock many issues though so it flies off the shelves. I wonder whether you can order copies via your local store or newsagent? Have a great week 💕 xxx

They are great bottles and easy to squeeze. I’ve popped the link in the video description. You do need to purchase the tops separately, but there are cheaper tops to the ones I purchased apparently. Hope that helps 💕
