I was a flower in 2015 and I was Dew Drop last year (my last Nutcracker)! I actually had a really bad labral tear in my hip at the time, so some of it had to be modified from the original choreography, and I was in a lot of pain the week of rehearsals and shows, but looking back on it, it was all so worth it. Obviously, I wish I could've been healthy for it, but I'm proud of those performances and all the work that went into them!

So last year, my class did snow for our nutcracker and my mom was talking about it with my director recently and apparently my class is now doing flowers. How, I don’t know. But I am scared because that’s a huge step and I’m going to be one of two people doing the dance on flat most likely because I wouldn’t have been on pointe long enough. So yea, life is fun. But you did so good in improving and I’m so proud!
